Ls2... 6.0 ltr with same style heads L76 and L98... 6.0ltr come with Ls3 bigger port high flow heads ...which do need a port & polish( in-house off course) with the cam swop around Christmas time? Ls3...6.2 ltr...

  9. ???asked the salesman if the gauge and Fpr comes with all fittings to adapt and they never come with jack.. only a bracket for the reg. Now to source out 1/8 NPT fittings.
  10. Italian FPR and Auzie gauge..guy from CDL autoparts came in and gave some great advise. More steel for mounts. Pipe bender for ABS relocation.
  11. The Ecu was at the door this am???? Removed the pump...got a holden V8 one... will use original as ZERO advised today..thanks for that. Getting a FPR and gauge tomorrow...want to start Ls on Thursday. Got the sleeves for the mounts...dont they look gorgeous??freaking cost me heaps to get the Od and Id machined, cut and tapered...annnyway a lathe, milling machine, drill press and welder will be on its way from Sa in a year when my brother and dad move here. They puttin a chev 350 into a mark2 Escourt. 220kw into 850kg??, also have a 1Uz in a Mitsi ute. Checking out wiring for start up.
  12. Oh dayyymm..?..not good brru. Chuck some ginger, beetroot, pumpkin seeds, banana and some water and ice in a blender and have that twice a week. Also some kegel exercises might help...oh heard once ginseng and acupuncture too..what ever tickles your tail feathers homie. Good luck.

Assembled..waiting for the ECU....hopefully by Thursday.....going to test out the original fuel pump pressure..just to start up.. which should be around 50 psi...can anyone confirm?...will get an in-tank pump and external reg. New gearbox mount..??...so Y pipe clearances should be better. Abs pump relocation might only have to fab up 1/2 lines, Clutch slave pipe adapt hopefully 3/4 bore on master has enough muscle to push the American pressure plate, and headers material next...oh yea..sub frame strenghten...

  17. Somethin like this for the gearbox mount...
  18. Got the halo bar for the mount sleeve. Away to the engineers it went along with the center stainless pipe to get machined and cut to size. Why couldn't BMW mke gaskets like these?..solid thick rubber. Anyway...still luv em...rod bearings and all. Have to get or fab another gearbox mount and support. Also gear lever shaft and stabiliser's like 80-90 mm too long...?
  19. Fitted the wiring & arranged other bits to see if any other parts will be needed. Need to get schematics for dbw acc pedal to ecu.

  21. Yeaa boi...???? mee sumps arrived the the land of the Free. Picking up the alti & fuse box for the Ls tonight. Hopefully start the engine on the stand by next weekend. Draughting & pricing for headers(1 7/8)...hate imperial? + material. R side of headers ..2 under and 2 over . L side heaps of space but less past gearbox where the collector will be to the rear of it where it will join to a Y piece...so 2.5" into a Y into a 3". ...so maybe rectangular tubing with the correct volumetric air flow and area space to keep the height on left only....will see....cos eye loike mee stance ay.
