    Recommend an isp

With slingshot, they used to hard out shape connections. Dont seem to anymore tho. On fs/128k (was on fs/fs), data banking, and free off peak. If I queue up a bunch of linux isos in utorrent I can pull about 300gb a month in offpeak data. Oh they appear to be caching torrents aswell. So if a torrent you are downloading has already been downloaded by someone else, you will download it at full speed. Oh and great pings to nz servers, turn interleaving off.

    E30 M50 conversion

Was just a test drive down the road with no exhaust and bit of a 1st gear spin up then spun into 2nd. After that the neighbours came out looking for someone to kill. When he does a proper skid it will be video'd.

Yeah crimping is the ideal way to do it, but I dont have any crimps, so I just soldered it and tbh I have never had any problems with solder + heatshrink. It does make a weaker connection tho, but nothing that would break unless it was been abused.

Nah.Theres a wire from the OBC code immobilizer that goes thru the c101 firewall connector. If theres power on that wire to the ECU it wont start. So I just cut it.

    WTB: e30 IS lip

Yeah, they are fibreglass tho iirc. Which isnt very good for a part like that, that is likely to get knocked around a little bit on a lowered car.

Heh, when I did my loom it took about 45mins (incl soldering it up). It was just un expected crap with the ABS that made the loom a bit different. Starter motor been the wrong one. Now no spark etc (possibly dodgy crank sensor). Pulled all the ABS wiring out (didnt work anyway). Also some other monkey has been in there and messed with wires, under the fusebox was full of wires and crimp connections, so was under the dash, so I spent alot of today cleaning all that up aswell.
  14. There are some of those euro bar ones at pinch a part in timbuktu. You could put those on (they are a bit rough but would come up mint with a bit of paint). Then get a piece of tinted perspex cut to shape, and use that as the wind deflector. (like in the pic) Actually, I might do this myself.. Muahahahaha.

It has been converted to manual, but that was with the m20 and the inhibitor has been bypassed. The inhibitor switch just disables the starter motor.

For some reason the ABS wire in the C101 connector is a earth, and the ABS wire in the E34 loom is a positive. Which made a dead short. We've fixed the wire and checked for other damaged wires and they are fine. Tested the loom in another car and it was fine, tested both ECU's and they are fine. The main relay comes on when you turn the key on. Coils and injectors and ECU is getting power. ICV hums with the key on. Fuel pump dosent come on when you crank the engine and there is no spark, but the fuel pump will come on if I jump the relay. Only thing I can think of at this point is the crank posistion sensor. Have triple checked that we havent got the cam and crank sensors plugged into the wrong plug. We have a spare crank sensor, but having trouble getting the old one out, have left it to soak in CRC overnight.

    Wheel Crack

Just cut thru the sidewall with a stanley knife. Its pretty easy. Then just cut thru the bead with a chisel and hammer or somthing, just be careful not to damage the wheel.
