im not in auckland at the moment so i cant check the battery light etc. possibly its a weak connection somewhere? i think i will have to get an auto sparky to have a look and then go from there, hopefully its nothing major.

the second battery i put in is out of my civic which i use everyday and have had no trouble with what so ever. so a possible solution would be to replace the altenator?

the starting thing is weird because when i jump it it starts fine. then if i stop and turn the car off and try and turn it on straight away it will start, but if i leave it for a while it doesnt start. would the starter motor be causing this? i really need to fix this, any advice on fixing it would be great. i presume the lights, sensors are stuffed as i took it for a decent drive today and the temp gauge stayed pretty steady. oh yeah it a 90 320 coupe. thanks nick

im after some bottlecaps in good condition with good tyres as cheap as possible also need a set of locks with key for a 90 e30 coupe, possibly the ignition barrell as well so i dont have to use two keys. also need these as cheap as possible. thanks

so i brought a e30 coupe today and am having starting issues. i put the key in and turn it and everything lights up etc but the engine doesnt crank or do anything. i thought the battery may be stuffed so i swapped it and it does the same thing. the only way to it starts is with jumper leads hooked up to another car. whats wrong? i need to fix this asap. also, the 'coolant' and 'overheat ' lights are always on, i have topped up the radiator but they both stay on. am i missing something? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

just wondering how many km's your e30's have on the clock and how they run, what you have had to replace, and what should be replaced at how many km's etc?

was looking at buying a automatic e30 off trademe, but the reverse gear doesnt work. the guy selling it said "Doesnt engage properly, ok when cold but plays up when warm" anyone know what could be wrong? this means it needs a new gear box? would it be safe to drive in its current condition? if it does need a recon or new gearbox how much would it set me back all up? any answers would be great

92 eg hatch auto red 128km 1500 vtec jvc mp3 headunit with pioneer fronts mint falken azenis tyres with 6mm all round on factory hubcaps mint interior ( grey ) exterior is a bit shabby - the top of drivers door looks like its had something spilled on it and need a respray, it has a 15cm scratch on the left rear quarter, the wing mirrors are faded. it has a brand new warrant, all that needed doing was the left steering rack boot and a small section of the exhaust pipe was replaced offers around $3500 needs to be sold by saturday evening. can be veiwed anytime friday or saturday 0211683067

need some advice. wanting to get some 17" black faced polished lipped rims for my e30 but am unsure of what to get. had a look on tardme and found some mint looking ones but they are the wrong offset. dont want to spent a fortune. any suggestions on what? where to look? any pics?
