More TG news: Matt LeBlanc (Joey from 'Friends') is set to join Chris Evans. Matt is a real car guy too - loves his Porsches (TechArt is his tuner of choice) and Ferraris (non-standard, whenever possible), and races dirt bikes. No mention of ever owning a BMW, though.

Were roofracks an option on the e46 wagons or did they all have them?

From what I've seen, they were standard, but there was the option to delete them, at least overseas.

Looking into sourcing some for my M3 touring. Will let you no what price we can get them for.

Your car has the roof rails too. I need the roof molding pieces from a car spec'd without these.

I've removed the rails on my E46, but am left with holes in the plastic roof molding, where the mounting brackets poke through.

Does anybody have the body trim for cars spec'd without the rails? Will have to use tape in the interim.

Guy Martin has turned down an invitation to host Top Gear. He said that being a truck fitter was his chosen career, and that it would always come first. The comparatively small amount of television work he currently does is hard enough to fit in around his job and bike racing, and that presenting the show would mean changing his life altogether.
