hey guys looking at an e30 ignition barrel it looks virtually identicl to the 1 out my e34, will it fit?

ok got a price, $421 exactly for the head gasket kit and timing belt and tensioner. this is from repco, forgot to ask about the head bolts thought. can you use the old bolts or do they HAVE to be replaced?

Hey everyone, I found a cool website that could come in very handy for any home/ backyard mechanics. NZ Gaskets It tells you all the torque settings when replacing head gaskets. You can search any car model etc... Hope you all find this handy. Rob

another lad pm'd me wanting $50 with 1 key and the barrel.... can you do better, all i want is the barrel now mate, the rest of the locks can be reset to suit the main key. cheers

got a guy with ignition barrel, he is trying to offload it at $60 plus postage, is that worth it?

also who would stock these gaskets?

what is the head gasket worth? and what will the head skim cost me? and is there any1 on here aroud waikato that can do that? or maybe help me replace the head gaskit

think ill just replace my head gaskit for now, how do i find out what motor i have exactly??? m20b20?? or would it be different? its an 1988 E34 520i

Hey everyone, some of you may know i have just brought an E34 bmw and the front and rear seats are ripped and ratty as hell, looking at getting them recovered, is it worth getting the standard ones done or finding some new bucket seats or something?

E34 front clear/ frosted indecators??

does any1 know if my gearbox will bolt upto a 93 320 engine non vanos? also may swap good motor for near new asus laptop about a month old. cost me $1600 can get list of specs if any1 may be keen.

Hi guys need ignition barrel for my beema, mines shagged, the old one is removed, i now need a new 1 or second hand, and if possible all the door and boot locks also so i have the same key for everything. Need asap!! cheers Rob

yep positive mate, i destroyed the lock itself, but the housing is smick as can be.

Removal is complete, i had to pry the guts out, and then i came across that tiny pin and woooooooosh!!! it released, need a new ignition barrel but now i can turn the bloody thing. so im on the look out for an non EWS E34 ignition barrel and keys. possibly door and boot locks too but mainly ignition barrel.cheers for anyone who helped.
