Yea mate, RB30 will be home sunday for $450, thats the motor in running cond with 5speed and clutch, ecu, loom. Next week the same guy is selling me the RB25de head ecu and look for $450 also. And yes i will be getting RIPS to build my engine, I go to rotorua next year for 3 weeks for my apprenticeship block courses so i will drop my car there and pick it up when its done

Roger that my friend! RB30DET!!!!! going for a twin cam head in the future, 20 or 40 thou over bore CP pistons, Spool Rods etc and wil retain the factory crank as they are solid anyway. I still cant decide wether to use RB25 head or RB26 head, RB25 head is a sh*tload cheaper then the RB26 head so will see how we go. Should have the RB30 motor and 5speed box home this weekend, then ill be saving for the installation. For all you people wondering who i am lol im sik beema bro, just had a name change to suit lol

Haha cheers mate, Yeah every man and his dog are going with 2j's etc.... I want to be different and go with a nissan RB motor. I am getting the motor,gearbox and tailshaft installed by a professional, and the exhaust and wiring and all the little bits and peices I will be doing myself as i know RB30 engines inside-out.

Should be picking up RB30 and 5 speed this weekend.

Head came off today, bores all look clean, and pistons look all good too, there isnt many signs of a head gasket leak. I am also adding some parts separately, Manual starter motor, and alternator.

Ok guys basically im selling my motor and gearbox from the E34 and going with a nissan RB30 been quoted some good prices to get the conversion done so thats the plan now. Engine M20B20 with getrag gearbox, motor has blown head gasket. Seling gearbox and clutch only. Will seperate parts motor/gearbox $400 the lot or PM me with offers trades. Im wanting a series 2 RB30 motor and stock RB30 5speed gearbox both in good running condition. cheers Rob price stated above is NEG/ONO

This is my new tool kit on its way to me, Will help me out a little bit with everything i need to do on the car.... I had heaps of tools back in aussie but had to leave them all there as it would have cost hundreds to ship them here.

Few pics and you will see i have a problem with my head also, 1x head stud is broken..... Does this mean the head is rubbish as it will most likly be warped to buggery? What are these lights telling me? they dont turn off??

All new joints and bushes. Black Leather/Vinyl interior. Custom Boot install. RIPS Custom Hybrid RB26/30 to be different. Garret GT35/40 turbo with .86 rear housing. R33 5 Speed gearbox. 19inch wheels. Paint job, Some sort of black. Offloading M20 and installing RB30. cheers

Any BMW mechanic should have a computer they plug into the loom to find all probs etc like fault codes and that sort of stuff, just get your favored or trusted BMW mechanic to have a look at it. When i worked at a BMW service center we had a lot of these airbag sensor light problems and a lot of them were cheap easily fixed.Diagnostic Scanner Tool its called.

Hey everyone I am looking for some interior parts, List is as follows. 4x Door cards 2x front and 2x rear. 2x Front seats in cloth NOT LEATHER. 1x Rear seat . 1x Sunroof Cover. 1x Manual shifter boot and surround. 1x steering column surround (Surrounding Ignition Barrel etc) 1x Dash Cluster or clear plastic cluster cover. 1x Dark coloured Carpet. ill just fix this m20, it seems like there is way to much involved in doing the conversion, and being into a bmw the price goes up by 90% so its pointless when u can spend less on a soarer or something and make more power lol this whole bmw thing is so hard to get used to, im a holden supporter normally so im in a different league here.... i got quoted 1200 - 1400 from my local mechanic here just to do the head gasket replacement. Not worth it really the car isnt even worth that much haha.
