Sorry, been a long time since I installed it on mine. Try this: http://wap.mgmaps.com/mgmaps.jar
  4. Well you can do a generic tune which will work on all cars, there will be gains, but without getting it tuned specific to your engine the gains are not as big as they could be.
  5. Currently my 89 E30 is sitting at 290,000km's. Be intresting to see what everyone elses car is on and how old they are...

I used a HTC Diamond touch for the last few weeks, it was pretty cool. But I would rather not have a phone with a touch screen, makes it hard to talk on when my big cauliflower ears touch the screen while im talking and they are pressing buttons, and the screen turns into a smudgey piece of sh*t. Oh and having to open a program to dial a number... its a phone for f**k sakes. Im used to just pressing the numbers on my keypad and dialing it.
  10. I dont know why, and Id love to find out why, but it does make a difference.
  11. Yeah, I thought that, but then he had already replied.E30.

You can have a special tune with a 1500rpm rev limiter. That should stop you from money shifting.

No. I cant imagine there been that much difference between ECU's, mine may have been chipped, can see that the ECU has been apart before. Ill pull it out when alex gets his chip burner and make some copies and possibly some adjustments to the tune.Compression ratio is 11.7:1
  14. Anyone bought a set of bilstein sports lately? Anyone know the going price for these brand new?
  15. Yeah... sorry. I have trouble putting what im thinking into words, especially when Im trying to explain things in a way for other people to understand.
  16. Just sh*t ive remembered from along time ago, didnt google any of that
  17. I believe they just do it for longetivity, it should last 4x longer than one with only 1 earth strap. Edited for clarity.
  18. Well there is bit of a science to it, people do "clock" spark plugs, so that the earth strap is pointing in the correct location. I think its popular with the V8 guys, iirc having the earth strap pointing at the exhaust valve is optimal, but thats with a 2v head. But I cant imagine the small g forces a car manages to pull that it would affect where the spark wants to jump to, and sounds like crap to me. (no offence to glenn)

Download the signed version. You need to download it with your phone, not with your pc and then installing it.Open this link with the browser on your phone http://wap.mgmaps.com/mgmaps-signed.jad and it will download and install it. Would pay to uninstall the old version first. Edit: Another cool app is Symartic ExtGPS, you can use your phone as an external GPS module over bluetooth with your laptop with programs like GoogleEarth Pro and Microsoft Streets and Maps. But I guess thats only handy if you take your laptop everywhere like I do.
  20. Doing it yourself and not knowing what you are doing = not worth it. Getting someone who knows what they are doing = possible marginal gains, but expensive. port work is tricky and takes along time to get right, its not just about making the ports bigger.
