Absolutely.
And you should gift the E85 to me. 😁

This.
Information is your friend.
There are no guarantees of success but the more evidence of dealers fixing the issues you can find, the better your chances are.
Your case is as good as it'll get - NZ new, 1 owner, fsh... Now you need to show it's their problem (as well as yours).

The number of people 'liking' posts here suggest there is at least some interest!

NZ new, very tidy-looking interior other than cracked dash, low spec (but that's not necessarily a bad thing).
Is it the lighting in the photo, or has the passenger side front wing been replaced or repainted? Could easily be shadow.

That could be the one I nearly swapped my Suzuki Bandit 1200 for. Had the (then) owner not had an accident, that deal would probably have gone ahead.
Was a few years - 4? 5? - ago, but bike value was around $3k at the time. Certainly seemed like a decent car when I saw it.

Am I the only one who thinks these people are dreaming when they turbo their E30, expecting M325i money. I'd be surprised if it would fetch more than $20k.
That exhaust hanging out the back like that is killing my OCD.
I don't see a $40k car, but I do admire the work that has gone into it. Of course, it's easier to accept (say) $30k when you start at 40, than it is to increase your asking price.
And yes - the exhaust is not giving me good feelings!7 hours ago, Vass said:Not gonna lie, looks like a pretty cool build to me, quite clean too. $20k is what some are asking for automatic sedans nowadays, would rather this any day of the week.
Agreed.

3 owners and 120km, but with some curious style choices.
It's back. This time at $29k.

But for the same money I'd definitely be buying this: https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/4152972514

Yes.

If one were to have lost a couple of fairly rare and recognisable wheels in a roadside heist, and then saw some very, very similar rims for sale as a pair in a mismatched set of four, should one feel aggrieved?

1989 Mercedes 500SE.
8.5km per litre, almost regardless of how it is driven. Almost... Some spirited excursions can see it drop considerably.
Never going to be as bad as my old Jensen though. Got that down to well below 2mpg. About 0.76km per litre. 🤣

Is an E9x M3 comparable in the 'genetics' sense to an E30, E36 or even E46? Maybe not.
Is it a lovely car to drive? Definitely. In 2008' Car and Driver' suggested it bordered on perfection.
It's a great car. DCT or manual? Personal preference. PFL or FL? Just get the best one you can.

Cheap tyres, scabby-looking rims, no rim centres...

Mercedes M116/M117, used up to the early 1990s, run a 80-84C thermostat.

M47 - same.

Even allowing for the 2 being mistakenly placed in front of the 4,500 this is adventurous pricing.
"I was told the OD stopped working fairly recently when I purchased the car."
I wonder when that was?

$4k for reps.
$5k *start* for a rolling shell with some rust and poor paint.
