Why do so many people park a car up, and let the rego lapse?
Apparently they don't know that keeping rego live requires a zero-cost once-a-year activity.
But they do know it'll re-register without any issue!

PFL 318i auto coupe - $25k.

Very good-looking example. But.. $25k? Not ideally located for a sale, either, although we did buy the Baur from Dunedin. Fly down, drive back.

Just seen an E30 rolling shell advertised for $5k. No engine, gearbox or diff, no front seats. No close-up pics.
I thought maybe the market was coming back a little - recently seen WoF'd and rego'd cars listed for $10k, perhaps a little less. Most were 320i autos.

Our Baur is 'Dolphin'. Well, Dolphin Grey. As opposed to Delphin, or Delphin Grau...

I suspect this may be a tough sell.
The car is (I'm guessing) $200k; the paint job allegedly cost(s) $300k. World renowned artist, etc.
An estimate of $400k-500k doesn't include the 5%+GST buyers premium.

Should've chosen another time to go on holiday.
Mrs M and her friend went to Hamilton (the long way - we're in Hawke's Bay) last month. $270 a night.
Which is probably why I'll not be getting a holiday any time soon.

There was a pair came up on Facebook a while back, being sold by someone who didn't know what they were. They weren't ours, but were listed immediately after we had two rims stolen off the Baur while it was parked, in daylight, in Hamilton. We were gone from the car for perhaps 25 minutes.
I tried for ages to find a replacement pair, before giving up, and refitting the 14s that were original. 😭

Certainly nice to have.
Bear in mind that any 'ordinary' C63 is going to blow the mind of 99%+ of people.

QED perhaps?
Still waiting for the pics of the interior, too.

Our old 320d is now in the hands of @_ethrty-Andy_ and going strong. At 500000km+.
OK, it's a diesel, but I know it is far from unique.

I'm very seriously considering a M113K-engined vehicle for my next purchase...

I think they're OK.
If in doubt (and if possible/practical) use PayPal to pay.

We certainly have a lower population and smaller pool of prospective buyers.
Similar number of lowballing a-holes, though.

Lowered so far on silly wheels that they rely on tyre sidewalls for suspension compliance ("just like F1, innit") - seeing them bounce over bumps makes my back hurt!

I hope it was astonishing for others, but apparently those involved had a number of vocal 'supporters' suggesting unfair play.
