    This sounds like such a good idea. Better yet get a ti and engine swap it ;)

    With the prices those things aren't fetching iv considered it. But one of my business partners, and by that I mean my mate just cannot get over the shape. And with a budget tighter than *insert inappropriate tight thing* engine swapping becomes a cost over run item really quickly.

    But a ti swap is my dream!

    once we find something I will throw up a 'build' thread though. Should be fun!

    With a title like that you know this is just going to be a shambles.

    Me and a few of my mates, just looking for a cheap E36 6 cyl which i have got the manual bits for to run in some hill climbs, track days etc. Always wanted to get stuck into events and this is the best way considering i have a manual box laying around. No looking to be competitive at all.

    Needs to have live plates, WOF issues we can deal with unless its chronic rust. Idea is to drive to and from events

    Closer to Auckland the better but can travel.

    Just after a couple bits and pieces for an E36 Maual conversion. I have the gearbox, shift linkage and front half of the driveshaft.

    Im after:

    - Pedal Box

    - Transmission Crossmember

    - Single Mass Flywheel

    - Starter to suit flywheel

    - Rear half of driveshaft

    - Reverse light switch harness

    - Clutch Line

    Annnnnnnnd a E36 for super cheap with wof close to Auckland (bit of an ask)

    recaro rails are easiest to buy with the sliders from NZKW, Z3 shifter contact HellBM they do a good deal for Bimmersport members, instead of worrying about the m20 should just buy my M50 conversion ;) its all ready to go!

    Lol just spoke to you on the FB group about the NZKW ones, thats the way im going. Defs going to Ray, cant beat a z3 shifter for $100, but need to suss a DSSR first so i can do all that in one go.

    But M20 goodness! They have this allure to them, i dont know what it is but i like them. Simple and sound good haha

    Hi guys,

    So a 2.7 stroker. Am I able to use my m20b25, use a 2.7 crank and use m20b20 rods and make it work?

    Bit of a long term project I'm going to undertake later this year but though I'd have my parts right first.

    Also if you've done the swap feel free to chime in with your experience

    Hi guys, After the following: *EDIT* - Lowering springs (6 Cyl) - Rear seat the back bit with an armrest (ski pass) - Sump guard - Dash mat - Z3 1.9 Shifter - M20b27 bottom end or 'e' bottom end if you will Theres probably more id like but this is all i can think of at the moment Im in Auckland, dont mind shipping unless its hellishly expensive Ill be honest and say that i cant afford all of these things at once so just comment what you have with a price and ill see what i can do Thanks!

    Hi guys,

    So my E30 has to spend overnight locked up in a carpark tonight due to some odd problem.

    A few days ago the boot light drained the battery and I got it charged up at Taylor auto electrical. So that was fixed and I adjusted the boot light switch.

    I have been driving it trouble free for a couple days and went to the shops today where I spent about 2 hours and when I came back the car would not start. I found that with the keys in the ignition but not turned to anything the subwoofers power light comes on and my cigarette lighter charger goes on but as soon as you turn the key to any other position the lights go off.

    So when the car is off things are powered, when it's on no lights come on or anything. We jumped it but nothing not even a click from the starter or a single light on the dash.

    I am VERY stumped and need to get this sorted asap. Any ideas what may be the issue here?

    Any help would be VERY VERY appreciated!

    Hi guys, just letting you know there's a nice E34 sedan with a M30b35 I believe at pick a part in Mangere, Auckland.

    Has red leather interior! Be a shame to see it go to waste so thought I'd post it up.
