Cheers guys! I'll hopefully try this out in a couple weeks time and report back with my findings

Thanks man. Taken me a while to realise I had a response, sorry about that.Needs to be the 25mm one from a 750il.
It only has 2 outputs so technically will only fit an Abs equipped e30. You would need a brake line T piece for the fronts on a nonABS.
Any t piece in particular? Or shall I get the BMC and hit up repco and see what they have that will fit?

Cheers Mark! Now to find the part hahaMake sure you get the right one for your model/year, there are a few different shapes with different sized holes for the intake tube.

Yes please, I have a pfl 323i if that helps. I'm sure the mounting clips are in the same place anyways so if it's cheap enough I can always mod it to fitI'll have a look in the garage could possibly have one

Cheers man! Hopefully it's around when I need it. Once the car is up and running I'll have a look into it

I checked that part number and thats just the tube, not the shroud. Thanks anyways!

Not sure which topic to post under so I found this most suitable.
Can anyone name the part/part number/sell me the intake shroud which goes behind the passenger's side headlight on an E30? It feeds from behind the headlight into the intake.
Iv included a photo from my cousins car to show the part.
Help would be greatly appreciated! Just want to get my hands on one

Hi guys,
Will be in the market for an lsd for a m20b25. Just want to see what's out there and for how much. I will be getting one in the near future for sure, just need to see what's on offer. List which ratio you have.
3.73 from what iv researched would be great. It is meant to be a daily, but for a bit of fun as well so very tall gearing won't be that fun. Your input would be appreciated on the matter as well!
Thanks!

Hey man, I am trying to mount it up to a m20b25. I am after the lines provided I can use the cooler I have. If you have the lines I'd be happy to get them provided they work for this application. The actual radiator part of the cooler can probably be made to fit, the gap where the cooler sits is pretty big on the E30 so there is room to move there.
It is the lines that are more of an issue, depending on what engine you are trying to fit it up to the connections can be on different sides of the engine (M20 LHS, S14 RHS) and the gap to get them through is pretty tight. The good news though is that the pipes are interchangeable on the cooler.
If it is your 323i you are trying to fit it into I do have a couple of lines off a 325i that could well work...
Thanks for your help!

Sorry to thread jack, but with the E32 booster, is there any problems running it if you don't have abs?

I have that, just need the cooler and lines to finish it off.I might have the lines as well, but not the thermostat oil filter housing you will need as well

Hey guys,
Just picked up a Behr oil cooler from an E24 and wondering if anyone has ever fitted these to an E30? Importantly, will the lines fit?
The part number on it is 11764581 E5
Any help would be much appreciated!

Okay guys, so the top end was pulled off and apparently it was at 'half-cycle'. Im going to go visit on Saturday to see whats gone on.
Long story short, possible valve to piston. BUT i have a spare m20b23 lying around. Is it possible to use this head on the b25?
-
Yeah it was a runner, made sure to see it with me own eyes before I bought it. It's at this guy's shop in mangere, he's built a few turbo'd E30s and owns one himself so I kind of trusted that he'd know what is happening. So timing marks line up, Engine turns over, I doubt it's a valve to piston. Was the engine a runner before you put it in? Who did you take it to anyway?
Maybe I cocked something up when putting the gearbox on?

Yeah I did, I mean it was a little hard with power steering and alternator belts on, but was quite easy once they came off to turn it over. That's why I kinda thought there's no way they're hittingI did ask earlier, Did you try to turn it over using a wrench on the front to see if it was stuck?

It's a m20b25 now, and yes I was also a bit skeptical as I was under the impression with timing marks the pistons would not collide with valves. On a b25, does the dizzy need to be aligned or just leave it to do its own thing?

Oil cooler from E28 to E30

Anyone have any e30 oil cooler lines? The ones off the E24 cooler don't have a thread, rather a flare type fitting which seems different as the oil filter housing has a thread.
