Just come back from 3200 K's of touring, starting to get a steering wheel wobble/ vibration under medium brakes. Looking for some ideas before I ask the 'experts' who get paid as they so often seem FOS.
Brake pressure still good, had no 'events' for the brakes over the trip. Total Ks on car now 55000 only
Ideas?

If it's jap probably require Nav and radio upgrade module same as my 06 e61, I wacked a new Bluetooth and usb iPod conection in at same time. Auto gravity are the guys for it. Few dollars but great result.
Duh just thread title nz new, forgot that LOL....

I remember these, the best racing there was this series, super cool!
-
Very nice, got a E61 as well, that v8 is a beauty for the DD
Loving the White!
M3 looks sweet for the track was thinking the same myself for a track car to have some fun

For 28k I'd want to see a box full of receipts and work done, this could need DEEP pockets.
-
And it goes on 325 touring 'similar to' M5. ........

Basic stuff, updated angel eyes to whites from lovely yellow OEM, put the front bumber back on after her indoors manage to remove it in the supermarket car park, ARGH

'Always run on 91' WTF? How is that a selling point?
It translates to "I am a total FW who knows nothing about BMWs, so it's all likely to sh*t itself any moment " great buying point !

Sounds like an awesome first car, forget about the drive train just enjoy learning to drive and the handling, you can always sort things in a year or so

Ohinewai exit past Rangirere, through Tahuna to Morrinsville, through Kiwitahi way inside Matamata cutting across to SH27 before Tirau is a good bunch of roads from open flowing to some twister tight stuff.

No style or class in that, trying to hard to out do AM me thinks

Em yummy indeed. McLaren is a very special car.
E61 is looking sharp as well, nice wheel combo, thought of tinting the windows?
Didn't know the wagon could substitute for an X5 as well LOL

Yip, may take a couple of months before significant movement I would think, time it flows through the supply chain and SOH etc. sells through. Product is more likely to be a fixed finished good price in market then perhaps a commodity such as Petrol as well
-
Fixed a leaking window washer valve under the front left fender, pain in the arse to get to
-
Good clay bar works a treat on prep as well
-
Yeah they are good blocks, got my E60 done with radio and Nav $699 awesome as well, worth talking to. Btw it wasn't coding it was a module replacement and coding
-
Check out Autogravity, site sponsor I'm sure they'll let you know what's needed and likely recode etc. pretty sure they work with others outside Auck as well
-
Looks sweet, love that E39 style

A diesel is more economical than the same petrol motor, and more economical than a petrol motor with about the same torque.RUC def not set up for small diesel cars.As mentioned above in a smaller diesel doing 5 to 6 l 100 k i pay the same RUC as a 2.5 tonne mitsubishi pajero which uses twice the fuel. The ruc rate for small diesel cars should be half what it is
Totally, thing that gets me as well, when will the govt cotton on to electrics needing RUC's as well, the whole system needs a reboot, no way should a 1l diesel hatch have to pay the same as a SUV or ute chucking a couple of tonne. Anyway go with what drives best that's the point of owning a BM anyways
-
NZ ruc's suck the life out of owning a diesel in NZ. Had a CX5 diesel, great drive, torque as but more Eco then petrol, nope not in NZ. may get close if 30k a year at least but buy it for the drive only

Go for the 550, save you an arm and leg on gas and repairs, still goes like a cut cat. Great 4 dr express
