  1. I wanted to have a go with clay bars but never used them before. Is it similar to very fine wet sanding (like 2000+ grit)?

Not really, like running putty over the car which feels kinda weird when you do it, great way to remove water spotting on surface and windows, needs some lubrication to work well, usually water spray.

You tube it, not hard to do though

  2. a waterblaster will never get the particles that are imbedded out of the paint, whilst dragonsbreath will actually dissolve them. Ive used my waterblaster heaps when cleaning wheels but its never been enough on its own.

Totally, water blaster is a start and I use it every week, always use a mitt and brush though as it's never enough, for me anyway :)

    Then re blast to finish

  3. Actually... it was available on the VW Touran in 2006, for the 2007 model year - so VW had it close to 10 years ago... but you sat in the car to do it.

I think sitting in the car is better, because you don't have to stand in the rain watching your new 7 fail to park itself, because one parking sensor is faulty.

    again

What's the point of sitting in the car you might as well drive it, isn't the purpose to park in tight spots and avoid those big arse doors getting scratched when you get out?

This becomes commen we might have narrow real estate to park for car parks, jam them in
