I will try this first, should be easy enough to grab some locally, hopefully

Since I picked up the car last week I’ve had a good ol’ steering wheel wobble. I assumed it was that the new tires had not been balanced properly, but I’ve had all 4 wheel & tires balanced again today (only slightly off)
This has helped some what but anything over 80kh it’s still there.
what would be then next port of call?
wheel bearings? What is the best way to check? -

N54.

Thanks for that! I was planning to upgrade the Change Pipe. Guess I’ll change the Intercooler at the same time.

Hey,
anybody have the stage 1 MHD Flash? No mods required, but just wondering what people have experienced. Is it worth it? Any issues?
cheers!

Just checked on RealOEM and it has 01/2008 as production date!
-
Sure this has been relisted but still pretty cheap

I thought all of the E9x had CIC by 2009?

The search continues, the Aventurine Green E91 I was looking at has a few more issues than first thought. I got some photos from the owner and its pretty rough, although it looks great in the TradeMe ad.
Although I need a car pretty soon ish, I'm not going to rush into buying for the sake of buying.
So, if anybody know of any E91 335i coming up for sale at a reasonable price, please let me know.

I'm currently looking a buying a E91 335i which has some Wastegate rattle. I've watched all the videos on YouTube and this may be a little out of my depth to fix, having to completely remove the turbos to install new flapper kit.
Does Anybody have any idea on cost for having the Waste gate actuators replaced? The turbo's themselves are fine.
I see you can buy upgraded flapper rebuild kits to prevent this from happening again.

Has anybody gone down the route of Single Turbo like the one available from DOC Race for the N54?
https://docrace.com/products/bmw-335i-n54-n55-single-turbo-kit?variant=27927526146150
i would imagine you would require a fair few supporting mods but seems like a pretty comprehensive kit

thanks for that, I’d heard of fcp euro but never Schmiedmann.com
I thought there was a good place up in Auckland that sold oem parts etc at prices better than the dealer? I’m sure I read that on here quite a while ago!
-
That’s the one I was actually looking at (Aventurine Green) For what the guys said it also need the injectors doing soon as well as having some waste gate rattle.

Someone at a wheel centre has seen him coming!
I like those wheels to be honest ?
worth a pretty penny too, but I would probably go back to an oem eventually.

Hi, just wondering where the best place (and price) is to buy most maintenance items for BMW?
Things like water pumps, gaskets, injectors, HPFP etc
-
Hi, I have recently sold my E92 as I need more space for growing family.
I'm looking for an E91 335i 2009 or newer.
I have found one on TradeMe but the current owner says it does have some Waste Gate rattle. Should I avoid this or do nearly all N54 have this issue?
I would like to run this as is for the next year or two before going single turbo so don't really want to spend the money rebuilding the turbos etc.

That’s not good! I took the car out today and because I didn’t let it warm up properly, I ended up with an engine warning light. This sounds expensive.
I’ll have to take it in next week!
Thanks

Hi all. Over the last few weeks my E92 320i 2008 has a very rough cold start.
Mot starts first time as always but is running very rough until up to temperature.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Hey, currently on an easter road trip around the south island, gathered a few stone chips along the way (mainly along the Kaikoura highway).
Any recommendations, in Wellington?

Looks like the wheels have been through a few colour changes?
Just painted the once, the different light makes the look black at times.

Thanks for the heads up.
I've sent an email to Euro Surgeon, awaiting the reply.
Hopefully, it can be done over the phone/internet as I'm in Wellington

Might be an issue as the rear wheel are so much wider than the fronts.
