    meh, just following the trend really. would be so boring.satin black is so much better as i said, basically matt with a shiny clearcoat do it a metallic gloss black with a pearl of your choice.

    definatly not matt black, satin, if any. Looks so much better. what about that dark E36 forest green? could look cool for other bmw colours.. dakar yellow? kashmir? - met gold lachs? hellrot? or what about a ferrari red. vw united grey would look cool. could get paint code from work too.

    i disagree, a custom exhaust would probably work out cheaper, and if u wanted u could just change the back muffler for the tone, exhaust would be less restrictive as well.. although not a huge difference.

    well seems someone deleted my post... but to do that would really be a waste of money, for the some money you can do a custom exhaust with a sports muffler on the end. Will free it up a bit.

  10. D2s are terrible from what i hear, cheap and nasty. for bang for buck, i'd go KYB again for sure. Nice shock. Ive got some semi-custom modified ones in mine. For what you're after, i think go a super low king spring/kyb setup. Nice entry level setup, and is avaliavle off the shelf in NZ. I'd probably run king springs in mine except they dont make them and i got jamex mega cheap.

    what do you hope to achieve by adding carbs into the mix of things? Hell ive considered it, but isnt it a lot better to go with a programable ecu? its definatly not much cheaper to go carbs once youve brought some decent webers/dellortos, got them re-jetted and rocked a custom manifold, possibly could be worth it on a fully dedicated track car, but f**k it would use some gas. not saying that 3x twin side webers wouldnt be hawt/sound brilliant. But yuh, why?

    jamex 50mm are low enough man, either that or get some custom springs made up. choose your spring rate etc, and your height, way better than compressed jamex. snells springs do it in auckland.
