By waiting I would argue the market has shifted, (which can go both ways).
Market value can be defined as:
"the amount 'it' should exchange for between a willing buyer and a willing seller in an arm’s-length transaction after proper marketing wherein the parties had each acted knowledgeably, prudently, and without compulsion"
Great chat boys
HAH straight from a text book
so are you saying theres no such thing as a bargain because everything is sold at its true market value because the market has set the price.
luckily trademe is full of people who cant spell prudently let alone know what it means
I think people forget the profit is made when you purchase,

yes and the japanese car importers tend to look at year and mileage and a rough grade of 1-5,
theyre not haggling value over certain types of mag wheels leather, sunroofs or whatever to them its just a car,and there markup is blah so they can afford to haggle blah
private sales try sometimes wrongly to upsell price on these things
-
It's simple - price. There is nothing else to it. Your price is too high
disagree
theres an element of luck and patience involved, your ad could sell in hours(price to low) maybe, maybe you got lucky and it was seen by the right person
If you turn down the offer and wait for a better price you may wait 6 months for a new buyer.
some things people have re-advertised many times because the the right person never saw the ad.
why drop the price because your watchlist or views count was low,try closing the auction on a different day or different time or maybe even a different month,
eg:(try selling a car over xmas new year week) not very likely!
theres also some skill involved, not all realestates agents/firms are equal by any stretch so price is not the only factor

Jeep have done it for a while, probably other manufacturers too.
It was an option in e39 plenty still around on ebay as retrofit,i would love one to go with the heated seats which i dnt think i could ever own a car without now, frosty mornings on the way to work would be excelent

I don't know about 3.5mm option but this model has no steering wheel controls. I'd certainly prefer a 3.5mm option if there was one.
btw i got the MD going, but the number of tracks you can get on a disc in SP is roughly the same as a CD so there's no real benefit... still looking for the best iPhone solution
the grom one has a 3.5 input, plus usb for memory sticks and an iphone plug, the unit plugs into the cd stacker plug, you lose the cdstacker.you need to buy extn cords which they sell if you want to bring the plugs up front.Mine is a wagon and I ran all the 3 plugs up into the ashtray mount up front and mounted them flush except for the iphone connector which has a lead sticking out the rest look factory fitted.Unit works well and you can change tracks from either phone or stereo system, track data, song titles etc all work on factory screen, bluetooth streaming works well with iphone 4 too cost less than $200

Hey lucas!
I reckon a DICE unit is the best option to go in terms of what you're after, I paid around 350 for the kit and I can play crispy clear quality sounds from my phone. It replaces the CD stacker so no more CDs, but who uses CD's now days?
Just give me a text and I'll help you out!
Yongxi
I got a grom audio model has usb,aux in and bluetooth and it was very cheap, you can find them on ebay, very good service and works well, company are good to deal with

It's funny how you have to jailbreak the iPhone to get anything useful out of it and to make it better that a S2.
Play with an S2 that has been rooted and then make your mind up.
due read the posts again
mine is rooted and how is rooting any different to jailbreaking
i dont get your arguement at all
I was prepared to change to the s2 bought the thing just realised it couldnt do everything my iphone did as well
i dont go out and buy each brand new model ,im not a fan boy
and how is an s2 over the original galaxy S and now the new nexus any different to iphone upgrades
my arguement was about and decided my choice because ios is better than android to use and is more hackable and has better apps, show me guitar apps on android,
everyone that says iphone cant do XX blah is actualy wrong (except for flash),there isnt a thing the galaxy can do that iphone cant if you know what your doing and galaxys need just as much tweaking, hacking and extra apps to do what I want it to dojust as iphones do,ive spent a long time reading learning and trying custom roms and apps on galaxys
I used to love palms for the same reason years ago
I love to hack anything,psp xbox,dvd players,tivos,pcs, macs,phones whatever,at least i know what im talking about when I make a post
some of the posts in this thread are as bad is holden vs ford

Jailbreak adds memory card support?
Apple sell memory card/camera adapter and a video out adapter
Bluetooth does everything if jailbroken ad2p streaming, file transfer
File transfer well name the flavour, ssh ftp, http, drop box,smb wireless, bluetooth, or just plain cable using ifunbox which is free, you dont need itunes for anything anymore
Its all available with the right apps just do your research1

Battery life is actually better than a 4 and remembering the S2 is thinner with a bigger screen and with a faster processor and ram, of course it it gonna heat up a bit more...of course there will be fanboys from either side but from someone who has had a 3gs and a 4 i can 100% say that imo the S2 is a step up and it will take more than an upgraded 4(s) to beat it.
Ive got both too and couldnt make the change in the end
On paper s2 but android software interface is no match for ios,its just clunky and unecesarily complicated,a jailbroken iphone can do so much more then any s2,the appstore wins hands down, try plugging your guitar into something like amplitube or ampkit, iphones and all the 3rd party software just rocks
Love the metal and weight of the iphone over the plastic toy feel of the s2 as well

During the race, you will see some old and very old classic racers -
including a 1957 Ford Customline and a 64 studebaker-cruiser see if you can pick it.
mini and a couple of little alfas held till lap 2 and must of been pedaling real fast
MUST have sound.....turned WAY up."
Geez the Charger had a fat arse and used it.
Loved watching the wipers dance on Conrod straight.
last lap across the top with no-one blocking, great stuff

Havent yet had cooling issues with ours but it is well documented on cooling system issues in E39's over the 100k mark.
Without seeing, hard to confirm the risk of driving - obviously depends on leakage & likelyhood of letting go & dumping water. From your description - sounds probably ok for short running but obviously keep a close eye on it.
If, as you say, it is in a non stressed part of the system - I would be hesitant of trying to repair & not be keen on a S/H unit either.
104km so guess its just bad design using plastic parts, have read they can just suddenly split so not prepared to risk a long trip as its obviously weakened internally and possibly brittle
Because it looks brand new, physically inspecting 2nd parts must be impossible to verify a good one
Like to know whether the tanks can be replaced or is the radiator a complete unit
-
My 2003 e39 525 has devoloped a pinhole in the plastic pipe header on passenger side which has just ruined my long weekend planned trip ,wierd because its looks physically brand new and is mid surface and unstressed,
What are the options are they repairable, part replacement or do i have to get a whole radiator
Any idea of costs likely and is it an easy remove and replace,
Is 2nd hand an option or are they just as likely to fail
Its still only a pinhole but is it likely to just split if i keep driving it or will it be ok short trips in the meantime

What I can't understand is why in the UK it costs 73,000 Pounds = $NZ 146,000 and when I asked at the dealership last week, they stated $230,000 It will be cheaper to import a new one than buy one local which is stupid
Can you find anything in nz that isnt marked up like that.? We bought a 3d plastics printer in last week and paid nz company over 2400,they had it sent in from usa direct to us and customs thinking we were the importers not the nz dealer wanted us to pay gst on its 900 purchase cost, nice markup there
Maybe theyre offsetting the new parts theyd have to stock, the new training for the service dept etc, maybe new computer testing equip,it must cost nz bmw a fee to bring in a model and be responsible for its maintainence and repairs,
Seems legit
