Silver++. I'm on the same boat looking for wheels. I too considered VSXX and Meisters. Then I backed off - going with a more conservative track oriented setup. They'd look awesome, but you'd need to 'stance it' to really pull it off IMO. You could pull it off and prove me wrong. This was my reference setup. Looks perfect to me but it is very aggressive and requires stretching and body work - not for me.
  2. Argh. Hopefully some of them will get sick of the wheels and sell them to us
  3. Speedfactor had some last I checked
  4. Casting the net wide.. After a set of e46 m3 wheels (or just rears) Or Apex ARC 8 18x9.5+22 hyper silver
  5. Will ring tomorrow if I can Checked the manufacture date.. and it was the same as the car So I might actually look around for a replacement. Any recommendations? Also, I tried to look for those caps to check the fluid level and it seems it's not designed to be accessible, as in the cover over the caps doesn't come off. Can someone confirm?
  6. Hi guys, did a quick search, nothing came up. So my e46 likes to drain out in 3-4 days of no usage which could be just the battery being old (will check later). If I drive it more regularly and not leave it sitting for more than 3 days I have no issues with the battery. i.e. it does charge and all. But before I go and buy a new battery, is there a recommended electrician that could see if there's any drainage/short/whatever else? Ideally in North Shore or CBD. Also any recommended retailers for batteries, if there is one other than the usual repco/bnt types? Thanks!
  7. Just throwing this out to see if anyone knows better.. Looking for a set of nt03+m with decent width and offset. I know I can get them new from states/ebay but the exchange rate is just horrendous. Yahoo jp don't have any. 41 seems to have some so I'll contact them. Is there any supplier in NZ?
  8. I got a quote from Autoquip - cheaper than what it'd cost me if I sourced it myself. They have to order from overseas as well so I'd be hit with bad exchange rate anyways. And I could be wrong but I don't see the exchange rate recovering in the foreseeable future. Just contemplating the GC kit as it comes with the camber plates whereas kw doesn't.. I couldn't find any other local suppliers - are there any good ones?
  9. Hmm I read their website again - GC does still do international shipping, just gotto be organised by email. Will email them to see what htey say.
  10. I'm looking to import a set of coilovers from USA (GC maybe) or just buy from local. GC won't do international shipping so I'll need to use a freight forwarding service. I do realize I'll probably be hit with duties but that's better than undervaluing it and not getting compensated in case of loss/damage. I did a quick search and one of the recommendations was to use kiwishipping - and their shipping calculator tells me it'd cost around $230 mark. Youshop is slightly dearer and has weird limits - they won't ship things over 2500NZD in value and maximum cover they provide is 1500NZD, which is pretty crap. Any other companies to recommend and estimates?
