Check BIOS dude!! when it detects your drive make sure its auto and not x heads/sectors - should be fine then

Ive used ebay.de to buy all my BMW stuff - be warned - ze germans are terrible with customer service and will not freight anything longer than 1200mm. Still got some mean e34 M5 and E30 M-tech II bits from there but have lost numerous items and $$$ in process.

I thought non-M Z3 rack ie. z3 1.9 was the quickest rack available for E30 swap?

Nevaaaaaar!! All paths are pointing back towards e36 m3 gear. I have a set of ET41 & ET20 17x8 style 32 rims which will probably push me that route also. thanks for your help!!

I found a site claiming that using E30 M3 Strut leg adapters [pn# 32212225349 as per attached pic] will allow you to bolt in an E28 strut into an E30 to get 5-lug. Is this feasible?

Buy some of trademe to suit M50 then reflange them - mild steel job should cost all of US$200

I got Schrick 290 for my M30 - technically the cut-off point between race & street. Don't have a clue what its like cos engines still being built. Should be +20bhp apparently and lumpity lump lump.

Wow how times have changed... 13b is gone and car is almost ready to take its M30/5-speed Schrick290 Hi-comp etc - and I managed to find myself the M-Tech2 kit - ebay.de. I don't reccomend it - somewhere out there is a rear bumper, brand new M-Tech1 rear spoiler, mint side panels - all paid for but never arrived. For those who want try - http://www.bmparts.co.uk/ They're good and always have stock but you'll pay tho. (450-600 UK pounds complete) Oh yeah - way to dig up old sh*t
