I have done alot of research on this and found that even if you find a gearbox with blanks in the bell housing it is very important that you drill the sensor holes in the exact right place or the car will run like a sack of sh*t.

Tried and Tested.

The gasket got disintagrated, cant find them anywhere here cept a 2nd hand one (waste of money).

I cleaned the diff cover in Inkwash (Xyolene) which is pretty harsh sh*t. Ill just use the instagasket stuff.

Also, you can get the sensors from the stealer. You can also get a tap and dye set from Mitre 10 Mega etc.

The gearboxes should have the blanks for the sensors even if they dont have the actual sensors. You can just tap the sensors into the blanks.

A mate of mine did this with his Dogleg when he did the ignition swap.

Stuff i got is a blue Loctite Automotive Product.

It says its safe to 360 degrees. Suitable for Oil Pans and Tappet/Valve Covers etc

Not safe for Exhaust Manifolds/Flanges or anything that contacts petrol.

I have taken my diff apart, had it all cleaned etc and in the process the gasket for the diff cover came off. I have some RTV Oil Pan Sealant Silicon Gasket Maker Stuff. From what i can tell from the packet it will be okay to use just this to seal the back cover.

What i want to know is: Will this be sufficient or am i going to have to go and buy a gasket??

Headers look ok, engine mounts look pretty dodgy though.... will they pass a cert??

From what i could tell it was either 8 or 10 shots that last about 5 seconds each.

Although i think some syndicates did not even use theres, some cars were rocking the 35th lap with 8 shots left !
