Body kits are made in japan. They are decent copies, even the fiber glass ones arent too shabby. Ill need to work out the shipping cost before i set any prices in stone, Will only be selling the kits as complete sets at this stage also.
The fiberglass replicas are approx 475$ ((not shipped to Nz)).tech 1 replica.
tech 2 is only a few dollers difference, and there are also fugly reiger replicas available .
The plastic ones are made in bbs and cost more again.
The finally shipping quote i get will set the price but this is still pending. So far its looking around the 550$/cubic meter mark + Customs fees taxes and broker fees to take in consideration
If anyone is seriously interested pm me. I can see this thread exploding with comments so just contact me directly
Cheers Mike.
Cheers mate. will be in touch.

Probably wishful thinking i know, but does anyone have a Tech II body kit or know of anywhere that makes them?? can be fibreglass or plastic....
Its for a coupe.
Cheers.

hey mate, how hard was it to get the recaro seats to fit? did u make rails or modify e30 ones?
-
not mucking around are we man.. only saw it the other day. will have to come round and have a look when its all done.
-
not unless you pull it apart, and know what you're looking at.. theres lots of little parts which are easy to loose! if you want to get it checked out, i can recommend Autosteer in Hamilton.
EDIT: also, why do you think its damaged?? if its noisey its most likely the pump.
-
thats HOT!! i DO want...
-
Wanted, E30 body with panels, doors etc. preferably facelift but anything considered..
coupe, sedan whatever.. must be tidyish, not fussed on what running gear if any it has as i wont be using it anyway.
dereg ok, not wanting to pay alot just base for a project.
let me know what you have.
-
possibly, but as soon as a wheel leaves the ground the spring is likely to fall out.
-
Just curious, if you've got super lows in there why do you want to go lower?? from memory you cant go much lower and still have captive springs.
you'd be better off getting brand new shortened shocks if you wanted new shocks (you never know how long 2nd handies will last)
-
it wont be your selector if you have reverse gear, id say something inside your transmission is dead, or computer if its an electronic controlled transmission.. not to ask stupid questions but is it full of fluid?? as if the fluid is too low it will only get 1st gear...
-
I'm running a 3.15:1 in mine. 2,800rpm in 5th @ 100kph. Calculated top speed of 245kph in 5th. I'm more than happy with the ratio. With the bigger engine I could have gone to a 2.97:1 for slightly better economy.....depends what you want.
What manual gearbox did you fit ??
I havent converted it just yet, just want to get all the bits together.
Must check what diff ratio is in there at the moment as I'd rather do the job all at once and do it properly.
-
its simple, take the feed pipes off the rack 22mm and 19mm bolts from memory, (dont loose the copper washers!!)
jack the car up, turn the wheels side to side until no more fluid pisses out, put the bolts back in, fill with ATF and repeat if required.
-
Hi guys, what would be the correct diff ratio for a M52 320i been converted to manual?? Cheers.
-
excellent, cheers.
-
good to see another Hamilton member, Welcome! car looks great!
-
Hi guys, does anyone know whether or not the M bumpers and side skirts off the E36 sedan will fit a touring?? am looking at a NZ New black 328i manual one.
-
So my E39 will fail because it has 97 rated tyres on the front and 94 rated tyres on the rear??
and how many should I have with 8" rims on the front and 9" on the rear (17s by the way and the spare is a 16"
No, spare is irrelevant... as long as the tread pattern and size of the tyres on the axle (eg front) are the same you cannot fail a wof. you can have 17" on the rear and 16" on the front if you wanted as theres nothing in the VIRM that says you cant. Ratings are irrelevant on different axles.

weld a bolt on the end and wind it out
-
is the engine gone yet
-
-
he does.
will u sell oil press and water temp for $100?
-
have you still got the gauges man?
-
man thats sexy... I want it

I wouldnt really recommend an Audi, after owning one for a while now the parts are expensive, they aren't easy to work on particularly, Ive had more problems with it than I have with the last 5 BMWs ive had.
Mine in a NZ new one, with full SH from Giltrap Prestige and its still a bit rubbish
Airbag Faults to africa
Water leaks
Clutch issues
Suspension parts
Electrical faults
Waterpump failed only 50,000km after fitted (genuine)
Just an honest opinion, stick with BMWs, im getting another one as soon as I find one i want!
