    The E30 Project

love it.... its gonna look phat. As for the rims, powder coated centres and polished rim. don't make the centre black leave them as is or a lighter colour than the body. IMO dark rims need a light coloured paint and vice versa (as youre doing) cant wait to see the colour!!!
  4. bet you cant get them for e28

    Wheels on E28

Hey Cam, Yeah Im going to run my 16" Hockenheims on Manfield (just coz I got them)... havent checked out the price of race rubber so if it is cheaper on 15s I might look out for some weaves... Otherwise its the 18s for show and 16s for track.

    Wheels on E28

Hey Guys, I have lined up a set of BBS Style 5 rims in 18x8 ET20 and 18x9 ET22. I know the front ones will fit but I am unsure about the width of the rear. Anyone help me out? I also got the 17" option to go for just in case but the price difference is so small I figured might as well go 18" Cheers

    17" wheels

How come you're selling dude? I thought you just got theswe this year? New ones in mind perhaps?
  10. depends on how you drive it.... I went through a WHOLE tank in ONE day..... that one day was the first day I got my car.... i wasn't driving with much interest in fuel consumption.

    my E46 328i

    very nice... welcome
  13. Had a very similar problem recently - was electrical. Also only 4 cylinders were firing at idle due to a vacuum leak as I was told.
  14. electrical - left this to the auto-electricians Overhaul brakes, replace exhaust manifold were larger expenses. As it had been in storage all hoses seals and other wearing parts had been replaced (mainly so I wouldn't have problems later on)
  15. No prob :thumb: Mind you I had to have some serious world done - hadn't been started for 6 years
  16. Got mine for $5k but it wasn't running also has low comp. engine but with other work done to engine exhaust and brakes also has mint cond. Hockenheims and no flaw in body work. Interior was OK. less than 90000 miles on it Hope this gives you an idea.

    FOR SALE

that round about is gold - so much fun

    FOR SALE

Hey nice car dude... but I would like to see an evaluation of $7k... I mean if it had been restored to original condition one may understand, but with a lot of aftermarket/un-original gear (seats, sounds etc..) it's just a 1976 car... = high mileage and potential for a lot of cash needing to be spent on it
  19. Looks really good. I reckon colourcode the bottoms - will look lower too. Why not use Pro Car Groomers? Theyre real go0d guys... best thing is they come to your house and do it for $120 all up... and if you have more than one car theyd drop the price too.
  20. Once got air in my dads old 306 Cabriolet - Didn't realise the footpath curved out into the middle of the road - blew the tyre, f**ked the strut, had to hold the wheel in a half right turn to drive it in a straight line...

  23. Usually is Queensgate Carl but I was working in Lambton Quay that day. I then somehow accidently proceeded to ask if she needed me to help her to put her pants on... Obviously not what I was intending to say, but that how it sounded. EDIT: spelling
  24. it was a pure mistake
