Yeah cam Im running S3.07 too as mine is the same from when it was converted from auto. I'm probably going to look at 3.46 though. I heard from somewhere that it's a good idea to stay within two stages of your current diff - anyone agree? I also looked around and read that 3.64 is probably the best all round for teh e28 manual. Dont know though - Ebay is selling a couple of S3.25 diffs at the mo though.

Neh thats not true, the as far as I know the E30 E28 and even E34 you are able to use the windows after you take out the key and open the door - but not if you close it I don't think. Never knew why they were designed that way though - I thought just so you could close the window after you take the key out in case.

regardless.... the wheels are an orsum compliment to the colour

If you want a free set of rims and tyres come see me.... Iv got some bottlecaps on a parts car which you can just swap over for yours if you want... as Im aware the tyres have decent tread... Im not using them, but the metrics are prob worth more than the bottlecaps anyway ahaha

Can someone who speaks spanish or is able to interpret the following please tell me what it means? Its on my auction for my seats on ebay!: cual es el precio minimo por el que usted venderia los asientos del BMW M535I? GRACIAS
-
welsome... very tidy. Im a e28 M535i owner... HAD a slightly darker interior... but now im spraying it

whats the equation you use to work out the diff ratio?
-
Hmmmm who's doing them for you?
-
Yeah but I want to go faster... I want to catch the porkers that are doing about 2 secs faster than me - got a 129.5 out of my last round I wish I could do both at the same time
-
Well the car is going to be used on the track again until next year - can't get time off work for Whittakers or the last intermarque sadly - and its the BMW sponsored round SO more performance would be fun. I'm hoping to get larger gains from the headers than usual, as it has a reverse intake manifold with cold air intake... But if I get the rollcage I can start making all the mods to the interior....
-
where are you getting it done andrew? My headers will be same as roll cage - around $1500, and he said hed do the exhaust system for around $500
-
Next month I will finally have saved enough money for a rollcage or for a full custom exhaust from the headers and all the way back through to the muffler. Rollcage will cost a little less but I will be able to afford the exhaust near the end of november. Theyre both going to be done at some stage though. So what should be done?

Hey does anyone have a spare frame for the gaitor (the vinyl surround of the gear lever) for a Manual E28 or even an E30 that they wanna sell me? Would REALLY appreciate it
-
86 E28 M535i 78XXX Kms. Hadn't been on the road for around 6 years - odo has frozen up and it doesnt move . since then - exhaust manifold replacement - too f**n much, wish Id gotten headers instead can't believe i didnt. electric windows had seized - dont remember how much Complete brake overhaul - too much AC doesnt blow cold air, heater doesnt blow hot air
-
i hate you so much right now... you have any idea how much those wheels are worth?..... if you dont... do you wanna sell them to me nice... i had an e34 once.... loved it. what do you plan on doing to it
-
very nice. are those 3piece BBS wheels? If so, I am SO jealous.
-
very tidy.... how much you get it feor if you dont mind me asking?
-
nice car..... cool colour - how about some interior and engine pics?
-
dont know what your bitching about.... try finding aftermarket lights for an e28. At least you have options to begin with. took me ages to find some for mine. Theyre gonna turn out like yours but are custom made and are only lenses, not whole units - i.e. I have to smash my yellow blinkers up and glue on those ones. goos luck though. as for e30 - check out ebay - heaps on there. e28 ones fit as well as far as i know. both smoked and clear available
-
thought you gonna use them for yourself
