I bought one new last year from the UK it worked out to $585 + shipping (and it was so worth it)

+1 the USA is just full of freaks. Imagine coming out of your hotel room to find that nutter dry humpin your Escalade ha. Ya just knew it was gunna be bad as soon as ya saw his hat
-
A bit sensitive there Sam ha. To be fair going from $6k to $29k is a step up. I thought only the rich could afford to run E30s
-
Or order one from BMW for $8.00 worked for me
-
Seems people just get carried away because they think its a bargin (same as mortgagee sales). Independent Prestige sold an 07 RS4 sedan in silver with 5ks on it for $99k. I would have thought that a much better buy. Ha drove a RS4 Avant in the weekend and now i really really really want one ha

That car belongs to Laurences Dad (old skool bmw on this forum).

I got new clips for mine from Jerry Clayton BMW. From memory they were $16 for eight.
-
Conrad that car of yours is just stunning

Crockett you are getting on my last nerve. If your sole point is to wind other members up then take your crap elsewhere. You have been warned.

In terms of second hand leases i would look at Orix etc. There have been a lot of cars returned of late due to companies failing etc that arent that old and the lease companies will want to re lease them instead of selling them and loosing a packet. Other option is to look at anything thats on runout ie when i leased the SV6 took the old model runout for $670 per month while the new model was $930 and frankly there both crap so might as well have the cheaper crap ha. Oh but dont touch the Rodeo, we leased 2 and both are by far the worst cars we have.

I totally miss walking around the factory eating them ha worked in operations management at the Cadbury Avondale plant for 3 years. Surprisingly i lost weight when i left that job ha

Actually your post is a waste of space. It was posted as a point of interest if your not interested don't post. Getting more than a little irritated with bullsh*t like this thats only purpose is to wind people up. Might be worth taking the time to engage your brain before opening your mouth.

Ha badass. Looks like the well published BridgeCorp 911 is there to. Im def going to this auction was gutted to miss the last one.
-
Well got to be the cheapest NZ New one ive seen yet. Assuming it goes for that money.

That reg looks familiar pretty sure that car was on trademe not so long ago

There where 6 E30 M3s imported and sold new in NZ with RHD conversion by Road and Track. The car you are talking about was one of those. In fact i think you will find that it recently sold again with 96ks on the clock and was still a very nice car.

Research mainly

I agree that the buyer pool in NZ is small than else where and that will always impact on what cars sell for. Although all of the cars mentioned could be worth that money as always ya have to find a buyer. Important to note that the car quoted as FACTORY RHD is not. It was built in Australia and there is no supporting documentation so effectively its a great car with a great story which might be impacting on the sale

Fair point Wayne it is much easier to buy one here that is registered. I still believe that the money is a little high in a market where people are having to sell their toys rather than add to them but there is always someone with a nest egg to spend (unfortunately its not me ha) If i had the money i would offer on this car knowing its history (might not be interesting but it been bloody well looked after with no expense spared and they did only make 600 of them). Hows yours Wayne? hoping you still have it

Who doesn't like a good E30 -
If its NZ new why would it have the last place of registration being UK? granted it was 1995 but even if it was on the old tourist delivery scheme surely it would be classed as imported.
-
Agreed. Comments about the owner or previous owners should be kept to yourself.

He's only had it 5mins so real estate not going that well then ha. Given that it was Roland's car its absolutely tops but its not $95k on this market. My bet is that he will struggle and most likely $80k tops given that low mileage EVO's are fetching around UK25k

Ya the lights the nasty exhaust and the cheap steering wheel but hey they are all an easy fix
