This has become pointless.
They are clearly the record holder at the Nurburgring with more rear seat room than a Maybach. The boot is so capacious Mexican drug cartels have started putting a ton of cocaine in the boot for late night border runs as they can outrun a plane.
At the start of this thread, I actually quite liked them.
Not anymore.Props to Mean and Jacko though, both of your cars will be better for your ownership and good examples.

I got a bike in, but it wasn’t as easy as it could have been. Skis are easy though. Flat pack furniture etc etc, no idea about sedans.
Dont get me wrong, I’m not ragging on them, just a little bemused by the level of love.

Did I compare the performance of the two?
The e36 coupe boot with folding seats is miles bigger too. Unless you want to carry a fridge, then get a ute.

I had a 118i for a while. Limited edition model (didn’t leak/use oil and water), I wouldn’t sit in the back of it.
I sort of get the attraction, but it’s barely any faster than a manual 328i which is better looking and has a useable boot. -

Have you tried Autohaus AZ? Used them for an S55 and they were cheaper. But some amg parts seem to be on a “lockdown” until a certain age.

There’s an e36 being wrecked onFB that looks to have the same or very similar colour.
I think yours is a fantastic job by the way.
