Haha, I wasn't saying remuera is overpriced you idiot. Read the original post properly. It was aimed at how overpriced Auckland CBD apartments are when you could buy just out of the CBD a big beautiful home in Remuera. And yes I know $1 million is cheap for Remuera! -
Just slap on a panel and you'll be right, haha. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=44364

Ok.. I was only making an observation between the prices of housing in Auckland. Not feeling self entitled or whatever other garbage you all seem to be directing towards me? I thought this was a forum to discuss things. Jesus where's the love at, all this negativity in the air.. -

Jeez, take a chill pill mate! -
Why a 3 series? the e90, especially the pre-facelift is the most bland, uninspiring & boring vehicle to look at. I do however like the facelift 2011+ (only just slightly though)

Just shy of a million NZD @ $965,000 you can buy a near harbour-side 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Auckland's CBD. With a whopping 122m2 floor area lol: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=591679015 Meanwhile... down in the upmarket trendy suburb that is Remuera for the same money @ $950,000 you can buy a modern, spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with garaging! with an ample 225m2 floor area & a land area of 440m2 : http://www.trademe.co.nz/property/resident...n-592062176.htm Jeez the prices of apartments in Auckland's CBD are just too high! Cannot justify buying an apartment in Auckland's CBD for that price, an absolute rip off. Anyways, that's my rant for today.

I recently had a front wing (entire panel) plus a headlight for an E66 from Germany via emirates skycargo. Was 3 days in transit. The total cost of delivery including all customs fees came to around $1,050. I organised my own freight too which saved me a bit of $$, I chose the most expensive shipping option (by air). I imagine by ship it would cost far less but take forever to arrive. I needed the parts asap so 3 days delivery was awesome.

Seen so many cars with the seats like this, and people driving in this position. It looks stupid & incredibly dangerous! whats coming to this world!

Here's some eye candy! Personally, I'd get a white one with that black roof. Never been a fan of the front of the Z4. The aggressive look to the side & rear end make up for it for me I guess. Still a cool car, be individual and instead of buying a beefed up run of the mill 3 series. Get the Z4-M! Life is short Top Gear rate the Z4-M better than a Porsche! (video below)

For all you 7 series fan! (LOADS OF PICS!)

I think they're so focussed on making the current 7 series too streamlined they forget about the luxury part :/ I dunno... The quality doesnt feel the same either in the current generation, they have used more durable materials though as in the past on the E65 & E38 there were issues on certain pieces of trim on the vehicle interior. I like the look of it though. -
A compliation of images of 7 Series BMW. E32, E38, E65/E66, F01/F02 E32: E38: E65/E66 F01/F02

You have an e46? Don't know what use you would have for it? The headlight is pretty shattered at the back, it's mostly hanging together by a thread... But come pick it up if you want, im in auckland. -
Yeah im keen to form a 7 series group! haha

Here are the un-salvageable parts.. I guess i'll drop the panel to a metal recycler & the headlight to the land fill. -
Major damage (unrepairable) to front right guard, front right headlight smashed too! Both replaced, ordered direct from Germany a refurbished panel, painted & ready to go. Perfect colour match. Surprisingly very easy to remove the panel, a few bolts here and there. Then it comes right off, little effort required. Heck, it's more difficult getting the headlights off of these beasts (requires removal of entire front bumper). Anyways, results are awesome. Saved a fair penny, very difficult getting spares for a long wheel base E66 7 series. Yes the parts are a different fit to a regular E65 which makes getting parts very expensive and difficult. Had to wait 2 months for these to arrive!

Definitely! Think I'll buy it & restore it to it's former glory. Rare in the fact that it has leather too! A lot of the older 7 series had cloth.
