well my manual conversion is calling, so i'm organising things now, before i go to uni. then ill try get it done first holidays. my first lil' question (of many) is about the ratios of the manual gear box (trying to figure out if i'll be revving my guts out at 100kph). the gearbox is out of pre-facelift 320i. i think it was an 86/87? the gearbox is a getrag 240? i've done a little research and two ratios have popped up. which one will it be? i) 1st: 3.764 2nd: 2.325 3rd: 1.612 4th: 1.229 5th: 1.000 ii) 1st: 3.72 2nd: 2.02 3rd: 1.32 4th: 1.00 5th: 0.81 cheers antony.

stayed up last night to watch, and it showed this morning when i was late for work . you can't blame players themselves, you've got to look at key areas where the game broke down. which is a combined effort between the batters at the crease and the bowling side. you can blame batters all you want, but some times its just good bowling and great captaincy (which is why fleming has to stay). some key moments were a tail ender (plunket) hitting 15? of bonds last over, 255 wouldve been a much more achieveable target. and the wickets of vincent and taylor. that is when the momentum of the game slowed. after that there was no 'designated hitter'. fleming shouldve seen this and taken it on himself. but as he continued on as an anchor there was to much f**kn around, which is when wickets come, and come they did. i think vaughan made a huge difference to england, and took a huge load off flintoff which showed in his bowling. new zealand will go like the england off late with out fleming, no strong leadership and expirence. now theres my over analysation of the simple gentlemans game antony

my old 17's were et35. they would rub at the front on the strut when you turned at full lock. et20 will fill your gaurd nicely. and +1 for pics

i went to south islands in primary school lol. nah didnt go to nationals. have been captain of the socials for 5 years lol. i was never put in the higher teams cuase i never took it serious enough (bbq's, beaters, and l&p styled stubies arn't really my old schools way of cricket. and being captain i sorted got the brunt of it lol). but im looking to be a little more serious this year, uni is social enough. yeah some numbers would be good. needs to be reasonably close to uni as i want have car to start with. o o o didnt i say something bout flem

aw yeah, handles like a gem. you really notice it in car parks etc, steering wheel is so much lighter. and bilstiens ftw if you like your open road driving.

fast 4x4 are scary as hell, i would take a high spec diesel a. i mean are you really looking for performance out of a 4x4. like my dads got a ford territory turbo, and all its power is just pointless, just driving normal you have to really concentrate on the speed your going into a corner, it really creeps up on you. my mates mum has a really high spec'd x5, a real nice car, and a good option if you go the 4x4 route
