Not worth the effort on most, the engine is still in them. Seats. Windows. You can see it all in the cube, quite funny to look at, its all relatively still in place. The crusher, its one of 3 'cubers' in the country. 1.5mil new, that one would be about 600k being 10 years old. Personally, I'd spend the money converting your 540i to 6 speed. It wont have an 'M' badge, or the pedigree that comes with it, but will surely be just as satisfying to drive. Or Buy an M5 in NZ, they come up every so often, and arnt badly priced, unless it needs and engine rebuild...
