  1. hahaha "she likes the special effects... so does her 17 year old sister...." shot. thats some pretty out of it sh*t eh?!
  2. yeah thats true, but until then, i think i would rather call the cops before taking my chances with 2 large non new zealanders.... catch my drift?? they would more than likely ebd up whipping the sh*t out of ya!!! and carrying a knife, if you dont know how to fight, your weapon will probably end up being used against you!!!shot.
  3. how long have you had your car? When a clutch lets out right down the bottom (on the floor) that is a good thing! if it was right up the top then you would be in for trouble! maybe the previous owners did the clutch not long before selling?

yeah and i still cant get the offer of my dollar challenge accepted.... I wana see a burnout!!!!!!
  5. unfortuantly both yourself and sic are right, it is necessary to have an alarm, but the thing is, it shouldnt be necessary, your sh*t should be safe in your car.... but i guess thats an ideal society for you eh?

    1988 E30 M3

I cant remember where i put my copy, but in last months performance car magazine they had a big thing on the compliance rules and regulations. The question was that a guy wanted to import an extremely modified series 4 RX-7. The LTSA guy was saying that you could try and claim its a home build, but he said hardly anyone could get it thru - because most cars from the 90s onwards arent "kit cars" (or words to that effect...) the impression he was conveying was that you wouldnt be able to tell the LTSA that (using their example) a series 4 RX-7 was a kit car...Good luck man - an M5 NICE!!! I want one a...
  7. thats all the cops are good for - they dont want to have to put in an effort to catch people, but they will happily drive around (because they can drive thru kfc and mc ds etc....) and bust you for doing 61 in a 50 or somthing.... really sorry to hear about your car bro. Hope they catch them! (but as i just said, dont hold your breath!) oh well, treat it how im treating my crash - as an excuse to make it better than before!

    20 questions

stumped it first try - mag wheels.
  9. i didnt specify K&N, I stated repco and supercheap auto - im not sure these places sell things of that quality... i wouldnt buy a pod filter for $40 - i would pay the extra and get somthing quality like K&N or Apexi or somthing similar....
  10. you should have said on a public road. Have you ever done grasswork whilst pissed??? damn thats some seriously fun sh*t - except i got carried away and now my wagon aint got a left hand wing mirror - according to my mates i clipped a fence post....

    Trip to the Snow

your serious??? far out there are some dumb people out there eh!!But 325 + snow = a hell of a lot of fun!
  12. random dude, seriously random!!! :mosh:
  13. you dont get much in the way of power gains, basically makes a better noise whilst accelerating... um as for buying one, you can get em at most "performance enhancing" shops - like mag n turbo, magwarehouse etc... but places like repco and supercheap autos sell them to. i think prices start at about $40 and work up from there....
  14. sic is right about biffing in a b16a, just near impossible to get traction.... im not really a fan of that car tho, im sorry...
  15. look its my mum haha :finger: i love you mum
  16. yeah that does sound a bit funny now you mention it...
  17. I wouldnt be stupid enough to be driving intoxicated to start with.... :finger:

    2.8 DT

haha i have established an interesting thing! 2.8 litre diesel turbo SWB isuzu bighorns will do helicopters in the mud/grass - with 33 inch mud tyres!! I had dads truck yesterday, and it was already filthy from the weekend (he went hunting) so I went to my mates place. He (my mate) said that it wouldnt do helis, so i just had to go out and prove him wrong!!! I tell you, its some awsome fun! and the fact that it will go anywhere is an advantage, but there is somthing special about going round in little circles on the spot!!! and as for driving sideways, mud spewing off the tyres and going hard - you cant beat it!!!
  19. it doesnt cost to look - i use that site all the time... hasnt cost a cent!
  20. looks at least 10x better than the old format.... and as for being updated.... damn it needs it a - they have sh*t for a driver training day that was HOW long ago??? that not really the way to attract potential new members if they are reading about "upcoming" events that are in fact in the past... makes it look like the club is slack.... (not that they are anything of the sort - regular emails and always well organised events etc)

    Wipers

do you know how many ways that comment can be taken.....
  22. the guys are right - pod filters interfer with your air-flow meter - you are better off getting a k&n panel filter that goes into your factory airbox. is your compact an e36 or e46?

    Wreaking

haha you are a strange one bro, hub caps on your wall??? riiiight - i bet ill see you rolling thru town one night 'capped up! haha if i had steel wheels for my bimmer we could both put chrome hub caps on and cruise round looking rightly stupid!!!Shot.
  24. i think it will be like the new 5/6/7 series - bit of a shock at first, but will grow on people. I hope that the black grill has been taped to disguise it a bit, the chrome kidney grill is a really unique stand out/defining feature for bimmers - ask anyone what the kidney grill is off (ie show em a grill/picture of one) and they would be able to tell you that its off a bmw. maybe not the model, but the brand of car. You know what i mean?
  25. thats definitly the plan. If i was to claim insurance, it would be repaired to how it was. by not claiming, sure its off the road longer, but its going to be seriously mean when its out again....i got a couple of hi-res photos from N1, giving close ups on the carbon front lip and the front part of the kit - got me sold on the carbon bit eh!! I cant attach them to this, it keeps coming up with this warning: "Sorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed" Any idea how to get around this?
