haha yeah i remember that day quite well... would you happen to have been coming thru that corner sideways behind my 325i at one stage that afternoon??/ A few times i came thru that corner with my ass and nose pointing to either cone!! and i remember bringing it back under control, looking into my rear view mirror and seeing a dirty great E34 hanging it out in similar fashion!!! was that your one??? and Grant, I remember that other E34 holding us up, she had an instructor in there showing her the best lines and stuff.... I was stuck directly behind her!!!

you got that quite wrong gus - it may not have the power to hold a drift, but it will get it out to the side.... look at me, I have an 88 single cam non turbo diesel wagon, and i get that thing sliding HARD!!! a evan, Udrive sprint cars will also prove it when the mega meet is on....And tyres are a big thing in drifting, sh*t on the back and good on the front is a good combination, sh*t on the front and good on the back is stupid!!!

240 meter oval, it is hard to get a good time - takes skill and a bit of practice - which is why my time is a shiity 13.6 or somthing, the best time belongs to a mate of mine in his subaru. Hes a nutty prick and has it done in 12.3. It is concrete and has the best line marked into it with bumps to hit half way rond (marking the apexs etc...) plenty of room for WHEN you spin out - havnt seen anyone not do it yet! and when you go off, you get to skid the grass up to help vent your frustrations!!!

yeah i disagree too gus - Evans 320i touring broke traction quite nicely when I took it for a spin with him and tim on board - it was as loose as a _ _ _ _ _ (fill the blank) after a good nights trading!!!you obviously aint doing it right.....

are they RWD offset? If they are front wheel drive offset they wont fit on BMWs, (unless you buy spacers but im not sure about that)

its $5 for 6 laps, or $10 for 12. It dont need to be wet, my 325 slides hard on it!!! Ill go and see them and see if we can get some sort of deal, like have it for a couple of hours on a saturday afternoon or somthing. They did it for us once before, group of my mates (about 15 cars) paid $15 each and we had it for 2 hours. A hell of a lot of fun, and they have a burnout pad!!! Shot. Anyway, im sorry, we have hi-jacked this thread, my bad, im sorry. therefore, i think we should move...

general disclaimer here - i wasnt on a public road - i was at u-drive sprint cars, on their track.Im thinking we should go there when everyone comes to napier for that meet, little concrete track, could create a lot of competition! Evan, after you left, i blew a tyre on their burnout pad, the otherone has practically nothing left of it!!
