whoa this dudes got like an old school bimmer grave yard thing going on in his back yard!!! mean! (and the guy telling the story likes his beer a!)
-
you got that right!! passengers and innocent drivers that get caught up in someone elses f**k ups!!
-
Have you been driving it hard enough to be using traction control???!!! (if so, nice!)nah man - its not going to hurt the car, more try and save the driver from hurting it (read: sideways into somthing! - somthing we all do - well, ok, maybe only gus and myself, but at least gus did it on his bottle caps and i did it in my diseaseal!!!) How many Ks have you clocked up in your car so far? how many Ks do they think it is until the car is fully run in and running at its proper potential? Its somthing like 10,000 a?

sun visor (at least on the drivers side) is a WoF requirement - found that out, drunk mate of mine pulled the one off my ute - wof the following day, sorry - fail, no sun visor!! (even tho im too tall to need the sunvisor in a single cab ute! (sitting upright, my head was on the roof!)
-
um, i would hope that you would be leaving the Mtech front on if you were to buy a M325i, seriously, i think it would be a lot better with the Mtech - that thing ( ) gus is selling may look good with a bit of work and another lip added on or somthing, but the mtech!!!
-
you change your mind more than i start my car up over the weekend!!! hahaha tell you what bro, straight swap. My "BMW" DX Wagon for your BMW touring.... you only loose a few g that way, and your hooking a brotha up!!!!
-
um im pretty sure that gus aint going to drive all the way down to napier from auckland to drop off a "Front kit thingy" and pick up 2 doz hineys.... are you gus!!! do the trade when we have the mega meet (unless you wanna do a road trip to auckland evan? we'll prob drink the hineys on the way up tho....)
-
well that would explain a lot - i was thinking it would have to have been airborne. And as for the tree - trees are bloody hard objects - you ever tried cutting one up with a chainsaw and axe? hardwork - esp when you try cutting thru - which is in effect what the audi was doing. That is also quite a round tree - would have been at least half the width of the door (probably more) and the car would have hit with such force that it simply smashed! out of it sh*t - poor passenger! i could see how it would be airborne too - most roads drop down at the edge. so if he went off the road sliding at 200k or more it wouldnt have gone straight down - does a plate fall straight down when you slide it across a table? the driver was an idiot!
-
thats outright crazy sh*t man!!! pretty funny, but as gus said, im not surprised either!
-
that is freaky! must of hit REALLY hard to split a car in half!!!
-
that is phat!!! evan bro - you can have your wagon - i think i could pull some mean drifts in that thing!!! haha everything comes back to slideways!!! Seriously - i like that car, shame its not an E30 M3 eh!!! (for that price!) if i was looking for a rare reasonably performing german sports car - that would be it for me!
-
which would be exactly why there are so many around wellington and napier and palmy and auckland and everywhere.the first BMW i ever drove was a 96 E36 318iS - it impressed me enough to make it a definite plan to buy a bmw, but it also made me definitly want somthing with 6 cylinders.
-
i have a mate here that does custom roll cages - hes a member of the hawkesbay car club, and he can do a full roll cage for about 1g - with the NZ motorsport? homologation cert. When i next see him, ill get a definite price, but i think that price is a bit hard to beat when it comes with the necessary papers and certs!! (having never actually researched the purchase of one, but ive been told that they are expensive as elsewhere!)
-
or worse than - at least the "boy racers" get up to their sh*t late at night (eg drags and diesel drops and the like) and usually away from heavily populated areas. The people in the 4X4s are out everywhere all the time driving like they own the road because they are in a larger vehicle than you - i tell you tho, i got hit from behind by a woman in an isuzu bighorn when i still had my ute - the flatdeck was undamaged, towbar a little bent (but who cares) and the front of her truck was a mess. It was the typical 4X4 driver too - middle aged mum with a backseat full of screaming kids.... get a fooking van or a station wagon - i was unaware that you needed four wheel drive to drop the kids off at school. (must be for the frequent river crossings because that dang bridge keeps getting washed away!)
-
HOLY HELL!!! a one armed man smashed up my car!!! (no really - this drunk american from texas with one arm did all this damage!) I find it near impossible to beleive that you would be pissed enough to do this!!! far out man!
-
are you serious? the Z3 LSD is the same as the E36 diff? might have to find one and LSD my 325!!! mint! what sort of money would i be looking at for a z3 lsd?

i had the window "regulator" break in the drivers window - little square piece of plastic, the only wrecker i could find with one wanted $20 for it - the $tealer charged me $8. Thank-you $tealer!
-
that would be similar sounding to mine then - did you get the 2.5" from the headers back like i did? do you even remember what mine sounds like??? hahaha it does sound a lot like an RB20DE (so ive been told)
-
i thought it was pretty reasonable, esp when they put on things like track days and driver training days (both road and race track) these are things that are hard to find out about when your not part of a car club - the BMWCC driver training day back in feb was the first one id ever been to, and i thoroughly reccomend it!!! Im going to the race craft one too - and the track day at puke! these are all put on by the BMWCC, and if paying $65 a year to get access to that sort of thing, in my eyes thats very worth while! its pretty hard to get track time any other way, unless your prepared to hire a track, which is expensive!!!
-
hahahahaha the g - unit (grant) would be the man to talk to!! (about getting old and little pillows etc) haha sorry man, that was a pwnage i wanted to get before someone else called it!!! haha but gus is right, E36 seats are soooo comfy - didnt bimmerboy have a set he wanted gone? bimmerboy, were they leather? if they are, ill buy em, carl, then you could buy my originals!!!
-
is performance BMW a NZ mag? I didnt think it was, but im gumby and dont know!!! haha
-
yea that usually happens with me too!!! When i installed my new headunit on thursday night (sony blackface mp3 thing - awsome fun!) and i blew the fuse for the accessory twice - should have watched where i put it a! it just nicked the earth, but thats enough!! - however playing with car audio is fun. But, playing with car electrics (ie electric windows etc) is frustrating, and can be dangerous!!!!
