actually just checked my wiring comparisons.....both have green on a 7......any other reason for no spark.....i think it might have something to do with ground/power connections somewhere....morning!
-
graeme i love you......have so far got it cranking, and fairly sure fuel is happening too...just no spark...will give that a go tomorrow...only other major prob im running into is the cooling system....havin to use pre FL expansion tank, but doesnt work well with FL radiator...also wont be able to run a fan....but will have a look in morn when havnt been working on car for 14 hours straight. looking forward to getting some spark
-
its motronic to motronic i thought it might be as much, just changing the colour of the wires from pre FL -> FL.....the round connecter snaps straight in, and am using the loom from old car so that all good.....engine in, on mounts, just needs to be wired up and attempted to start...will try take some vid of the manifold off if it works
-
the wiring seems to be different...any one got any tips? havnt connected it all yet...anything i should know beforei go ahead?
-
3 series got it too.....my old one had it .... wasnt the right fit though either
-
dont know if users can upload more than 500kb.....i think only mods can do the 4mg +
-
sounds just like a super high revving m20 badass
-
good luck...they not very common..... i have no idea if this would work, but the guys who swap m50's into an e30 can use the m20 box.....no idea if it would work the other way, just an idea

EDIT by Andrew so people know what gus had: Gus' old 325i had stock manifold, dual pipes to a single pipe to a coby to a milo can. Gus' M325i car had headers, duel pipes to resonators to Racing Dynamics muffler. the link to my burnout heres my old old car MOV00684.MPG

yeah saw it....nasty bizniss
-
apparently you can squish the stock FPR......but also apparently it needs 5-6 to "get it right" sounds fun, and my sorta mod vice = power
-
brent, would love to give a 3.5 one a go...how much you want for it? im sure i could make it fit. will give you a call next time im around papakura
-
i shoulda included that too.....thought that could be a possibility...no boost doesnt help....haha adjustable one....would that increase fuel pressure?
-
tim....you got one...did it make a difference just wondering if its worth it on a NA m20, with my mods i think it would help a bit...basically just increases the fuel pressure as it senses vacuum (in lieu of boost). thoughts?
-
was thinking same, but do they fit waiting for a 5 series man to come and save me
-
i want one instead of paying 130 quid plus posting my spare to the UK...i was thinking to get one of my spare ones bored out, and a bigger throttle plate put in. surely it couldnt be this easy? anyone got any ideas/suggestions/want in on this? please....continue

agree...i hate silicon...it just makes dust stick and your tyres look brown....good tyre products are ok...i personally just clean the tyre....its not black black but looks good...i love plain rubber
-
can someone lock this? internet arguing is stupid.
-
a 325 does at least 200 down back straight.....im sure an m3 (not e30, prob e36) would hit 250 easy..ish
-
sweet, will have a looksie when i get em both apart balancing? haha i love wobbles!
-
my driveshaft has some rubbing on it.....its not too bad, but doesnt look great either...its not deep (from the gearlever after crash) the CSB rubber surround has torn...easy to replace? failing that anyone got a 2nd hand DS? or could i use the front half of the auto one with the back 5spd half, or are they both different?
-
all those links had nothing to do with the hideous thing you posted.....this is the car thats being shown as the new x6...slightly more believable nice comeback
