yep sure did....if i do end up doing the build i may as well do it properly....i havent tried anywhere yet....its out of the turbo and NA diesel 2.4's...although it might be 2.5....cant be f**ked looking now but its the same as the eta crank i think

its not the reason for the rego confusion is that when its first registered in NZ, anything can be written down....also the M325i was called different things depending on country...in UK it was the 325i Sport.....which is why there is a lot of confusion. considering i just sold mine for 6....it doesnt look THAT fantastic...but it does look pretty nice and has colour coded stuff and basketweaves....it could be a 325i SE..but then we getting confusing! good luck

trade me was pretty good...i got heaps of interest from that....you should get at least 8-9 for it.....is it completely stock? the only thing is that the most common pre FL M325 colour is lach...its a mint colour...but ive seen heaps around....good luck though dude

well it has no kit.....looks just like a stock 325 with basket weaves..not a bad thing, but it aint no motorsport (or at least has no features that you want) man this thread busy.....haha the rego doesnt mean much...can register a car as anything
-
cheers ryan! i got 6, cash in hand.....im happy with that and it saved me the time and hassle not sure when im getting the new one..will put pics up when i do
-
what sorta coin would you be looking at? a lot depends on condition...realistically between 8-10....ive seen Motorsports go as low as 4, so dont put an unrealistic price on it!
-
the black headliner is pretty much the easiest way....a facelift MS in mint condition....somewhere round 10k? for pre facelift a grand or two less...unless its special
-
looks nice..def not unsaveable! when you get a parcel tray, go to repco and get carpet paint and paint it black....looks 10x better and is very durable. for the exhaust take the opportunity to get a full 2.5" pipe the whole way back....i wish i had done as with all the welding and sh*t that had to go on my stock exhaust cost a lot more than it should. nice sideskirts though...pity its missing the front lip! post more pics when ya done
-
the starters looked the same....from what i could tell they wouldnt be any different...could be wrong though! not sure on diff ratio as doesnt have tag....first goes to bout 40...2nd goes to 80ish....makes it quite zippy...its fun!
-
as far as i know they didnt....http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/BMW/auction-19964492.htm is that the one? probably BS.....and thats not bimmersport ladies and gents if they did...which is not unlikely...it was probably a 2.7 making somewhere in the region of 200hp....or 30 more than stock....both the alpina and hartge 2.7's made similar amounts

kelly charger goodness is all the grip you need young man

hmmm the water fall fat dave should rock at it......flat warming games?

ive got the subframe ones out of my car.....gutted that my trailing arm ones and control arm ones will be going to the new owner ah well these things happen

when you say bored to 2.7, are you using a eta engine crank and rods? or just boring? the idling horribly would have at least something to do with the cam (depending on the profile), and maybe the extra fuel the injectors are pumping in? you should look into having your stock ECU remapped...that seems to be quite an effective way to go about things...trouble is i dont know where! i know Gavin Bellars at Bellars Motor Works was looking into doing that at some point, and he has a dyno so maybe look him and have a chat....when i get round to doing my 2.7 i will def seriously consider him let me know how it goes and good luck!
