    tuned headers to get made normally run from $100-200 per cylinder....not sure if there are any off the shelf items around available...to be honest your prob better off spending the money on a ECU.....getting it remapped and able to run a MAF instead of the AFM flap

    haha no jungl3....getting jungle for special occasions though....just waiting for em from states now have fogs and no AC....nice tidy job...removed lower plastic whilst i cut holes for brake ducting in it....and removed crap alarm and random sh*t...now just need a ciggie lighter...abby here i come!

    didnt look at the coupling today....its quite tight with the headers it was the aluminium smooth housing that gave it away....http://www.e30m3performance.com/installs/installs-3/e36rack/index.htm the top rack in the 2nd pic down, the outer looks like that.....as far as i know all e30 ones are textured steel. if the weather is better ill look tomorrow when i do other stuff
  6. haha yeah they are stamped incorrectly.....they fit on easy in the fronts, just make sure you push them on the control arm the whole way...they may need "encouragement" with hammer to make it easier....i got my old subframe done at the shop...i still have them in a subframe though

    here the fronts...im thinking H&R....PO doesnt know either also.....its not an e30 power steering rack...i think its an e36 rack.....gonna have a fiddle with some part numbers and see what i get...it would explain why i actually like the power steering on it! the exhaust system is full.....the only things between the headers and rear muffler is 2 coby looking devices weather too crap today so fogs and AC removal still on to do list....will also cut holes in plastic as the brake ducts are useless at the mo...however did manage to do black parcel tray which looks better she is pretty low....over bumps at highish speeds the exhaust can scrape....but its quite soft which i like...standard M325i clutch, which is diff to 325 clutch, or at least feels a lot firmer....like grants or andy's...both different. to be honest i think the chip is only good for a stock one.....ideally i want to do a unichip which is remappable and replace the AFM with something less restrictive....will see how grant's turns out but she feels quicker now than old car, although i think she might be leaning out at high RPM.....will see how money and everything goes...just ordered Short Shift today so i don't feel like im rowing! and just discovered that she is NZ new

    also.....for my fronts....could i use the headunit power out, connect them to an RCA to plug into the amp, and then run cables back up front to power the speakers? sounds pretty complicated but makes sense

    have you taken out a spark plug and checked to see if that fires? its not always the dizzy......i wouldnt imagine the dizzy would just suddenly stop working....its more of a gradual thing....heres an L jet dizzy it could be a mechanic thing ollie....i hate engine electrical crap....could be the ECU too? all your spark plug wires plugged in?

    not sure of which sub is better....they prob both single voice coil....ill find more info about them...cant bridge the amp to one output...only 2x150 watt....i couldnt bridge the amp into 2 150W out puts and combine them both into the one sub? not keen on running 2 subs in boot...more weight ....hope that made sense..i also want to figure out how to use the stock tweeter mounting and wiring...but thats another story

  16. mtech 2 kits can be bought at eurospares for 6-700 when they available....so i imagine half that ish?

    price will be the determining factor really....i know andy wants one.....if you have any 3.91 i might even be keen! also if they are fresh rebuilt ones or possible skanky old 2nd hand ones might make a diff....bear in mind a quaife aftermarket one (which would last forever) runs to about $1500 so if would have to be competitive.....not sure about shipping ill have a think and get back to you on that

    I'm not 100% sure on selling this....but im keen to get some interest.....ive got a virtually complete eta engine, excluding the head (basically perfect to convert your 325i into a 2.7) inc crank, conrods, pistons etc....would possibly be open to decent offers too [email protected]
