Alleged BMW road rage attack leaves van driver critical
Gus replied to HELLBM's topic in General Discussion
I'm a wanker -
pft, lonely track, 130kmh, 3rd gear...harden up
-
something where you can sit down, is comfortable, your knees don't touch anything, easy to pay for and use. somewhere quietish you can use the phone at the same time. if they had a communal printing/scanning facility that would be handy too.
-
dave the wanker is kicking ass
-
I dig it - just needs to matte camo and i'm set
-
looks like i might buy Pam's car from her!
-
the only way to make the best looking e30!
-
that's so, so badass. might print it out
-
Corky Bell writes an interesting book on supercharging, try Amazon. It covers a wide range of aspects of forced induction, essential reading if you are planning on doing something like what you're talking about
-
I might be a little negotiable on price, would like to see this gone.
-
yeah - it's cheap. I may just keep it if I can't sell it for what I want
-
^^ about £1500 a set when I got a quote, i think for 16's?
-
yeah, the interiors are minging. i'm still digging the idea! won't happen for at least a year though
-
yep. not the best for cold starts due to the motec, but she's perfectly reliable. i used it every day when I was in NZ, it's actually pretty economical compared to a 325i

Get an agent - talk to Andrew also, he works in that sort of thing. I used to be with Clyne, they seemed ok. Good money if you can get the work!3
-
haha awesome
-
haha nothing wrong with wanting a cabby! a caterham is a bit out of my reach until next year. still drink cold beer, don't worry! I was keen on the e30 drive for a long time, however it's a pain in the ass to fix ALL the time and i want to see the sky!
-
will consider future indentures of forced labour?
-
in the UK. An M is way out of the question, hopefully a 2.8, maybe a 2.0 or 2.2. Insurance on a 2.5 e30 is killing me it's way too sunny in NZ for a cabby! plus, i already have one..kindof it's more for Europe tripping..could be nice
-
I want one, anyone here have any wisdom to share about model choice, buying etc. I'm thinking a 2.2 would be enough? hairdresser/homo comments more than welcome, as long as they don't detract from any useful info people have

I'm selling this properly now - previous FS threads are here: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....;hl=318is+turbo http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....;hl=318is+turbo http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....;hl=318is+turbo a few updates: Rebuilt Clutch pack LSD instead of the quaife it has a turbo cam, I'm not sure of specs It's in great condition, I think it's around 167k or so I'm not going to be back in NZ for some time, and don't really want the car sitting around. $10k email me for more details if you need them. It's a drive away reliable 180 rwkw so saves spending $$$ to get a great e30 - this car has cost at least triple my asking price to build
