thanks mate! yes the Meguiar's range is great. I used a product called Autoglym cut and wax and some hard elbow grease. then used two coats of meguirs canuba wax and this was the result.

As some of you may know I had to sell the "Is" due to the wife heading to the uk to study. Well I got bored very quickly and had nothing to tinker with. I thought I needed another project unfortunatly I ]am on a very limited budget as the pound is'nt helping at the moment. And so stumbled across this it was the right price and a good start! before you all laugh I know its only a 1.6i but it was NZ new one owner, five speed and straight! Thanks Guy's the Cluster must be the problem I will take it out and have a look, the good thing is it has full history and from the last wof/service is does marry up so must have recently happened. Is there any pointers I need to know before I break it? Ray if you read this I hope you have another one in stock lol!

I have bought a new project E30 and the klms are not clicking over but everything else is working? does anyone have ideas? could it be the sensor on the back of the diff? cheers.

I am after your guys input! I have the opportunity to purchase an e30 316 manual.very straight nz new five spd wof and reg. Or 95. 318ti compact also 5 speed but deregd! Oh and the compact has 200ks and the e30 has Gen 145! Plans for the e30would be engine swap obviously. I only have tonight to make my decision. Cheers guys.
