Hi all, new here and just looking for some buying advice. Looking at buying a e90 platform daily and came across a 330i 2006 with a AC Schnitzer kit. I've looked online and couldn't find anything to say if this variant came with a tune or just a body kit. Also when I go to view the car is there anyway to prove the kit is genuine? Tossing up between this car or a e92 2011 325i, what would be the better option for a student on a budget dead set on a BMW? Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone! I’m new to the forum and am hoping to have some luck here! I’m currently on the hunt for some 2pc or 3pc, 17” or 18” type 3’s for my e36 wagon as I’ve almost finished off the overfenders and need something to fill out the guards a little better! Must be genuine and don’t mind about the CB size as I can get hub adaptors made to suit! Any help or leads would be much appreciated as I’m not having too much luck elsewhere and thought I’d give this forum a shot! I have added 3 photos of the Type 3 2pc for reference. Im Auckland based! But happy to see what’s out there even if some pop up in the South Island. I will also part with my monoblock AC Type 3’s with the rare spoke caps + cash depending on the wheels. These rims are grey wrapped in the PS4’s. See photo attached. Thanks!

Picked up this e39 a wee while ago. Has a bunch of ac kit on it, had the timing chain done, and is manual. Only known negative at the time of buying was that the sunroof might leak a little and the diff is starting to get noisy. Got about 8 months of enjoyment out of it. Then the brakes started getting very spongy. Got that repaired- it was the abs. Unfortunately the abs doesn't work, it now has a solid pedal though. I was also told they couldn't scan the car and they believe some wires have been snipped behind the dash. Had a few others try scan it (thanks everyone) but nobody had any luck. The car was parked up for some time after that, during that time the sunroof leaked into the drivers footwell. My current list of problems is as follows: -replace windscreen trim seal (have a new one just need to install) -passenger brake light stays on -passenger tail light wiring suspect -not scanning -airbag light not coming on -coolant temp not correct on gauge -abs light not working -abs not working -diff noisey -front bumper grill drivers side broken -lumbar support drivers-motor goes but no movement -clunk in front suspension - possibly the garbage power flex bushes I installed -oil change -surface rust from water leak -washer fluid bottle leaks -needs a clean Ultimately I'm looking to sell the car (too many cars). If someone wants to take on that list of problems I'd let it go for 8k. Otherwise I'll slowly fix it up and try and sell it for a considerable amount more.

Hey guys up for sale is my E36 msport manual coupe. Reason for sale is I have too many cars and the wifey isn't happy. Details: 270,000kms Leather interior with the sought after leather doorcards (in fantastic condition, no peeling) Has near new M3 bilstein's (done less than 5,000kms) Can come with the Rieger GT front lip, but needs repairs as it's been cracked in two (debris on motorway took it off) Drives beautifully, no mechanical issues, gearbox is smooth with no crunches. Cons: Headliner is sagging as is usual with most E36's Drivers side window not working, needs new reg/motor Steering wheel leather is starting to crack, could do with a replacement. $6,500 ono, reasonable offers considered, may be interested in swaps + cash my way (just don't tell the wife ). Will come with Wof and Rego for new owner. Note: comes with ACS wheels, not the Style 42's as seen in photo 3. Cheers.

After a set of staggered 18" or 19" rims to suit an e39, preferably the AC schnitzer type 3 style. Thanks

Any wheel experts out there have an opinion on whether these Type IIs are the real thing? Only markings on the wheels are size (18X8.5JJ), presumably max load (650kg) and offset (ET15). Surprised to not see a country of manufacture anywhere although two of them have partial Gs.. perhaps the beginning of a Germany? Have been recently refurbed at Arrow Wheels, they apparently seemed to think they were genuine as does the owner as he bought them with the understanding they were. At this stage I'm 75% sure they aren't. And while we're on the topic if anyone ever wants to get rid of a genuine set of these I'll pay through the roof!
