I have doubts about the swap when the electrical wiring, does anyone know if I have a DME from the 1.8 wiring if it is compatible for the new m54 engine, I had an accident with my e46 330ci and it was declared a total loss and I have a complete car to do a swap which I want to do on my z3. If someone could help me I appreciate it, thanks

Clutch kit brought from independent to suit M52, but doesn't work (fork/bearing will not reach to engage, even with E21 taller bearing). Cost me 9 months of replacing hydraulics, trying different bleeding methods and engine in/out multiple times to figure out. Hopefully someone can identify it and can get some use out of it, as it has a bit of life left and is one of the better used kits I've seen recently. I am currently in the process of swapping my m43 to an m50b25. I removed the exhaust from a parts car (1997 328i) and wondering if it is suitable to bolt onto the m50. From what i have gathered, the 2x O2 sensors in the m52 manifold wont work with the m50 (please correct me if im wrong). Will it just be easier to buy an entire m50 exhaust system? Or how do i get around using this exhaust. Cheers

2001 e46 318i is misfiring on cylinder 1 After a m43 spark plug lead and if its worst case a coil pack (yes, have checked spark plugs). Currently in Mt Managanui and need to get to palmy by tomorrow evening. I have no transport, drop-off would be fantastic!!! Cheers.

Following acquisition of the Miss M-mobile, I'm collecting useful parts, service parts, and instructions. I have an old copy of a Bentley manual but it covers the M42 and M44, not the M43. I think the Haynes manual covers the M43, but from what I've read it is a pretty crap manual."Undo bolts. Remove item. Installation is reverse of removal." covers most operations and while that's probably true, it's rarely the whole story. Actually, I could do with an E36 manual, too. Any suggestions for good, usable material?
