  4. I am currently in the process of swapping my m43 to an m50b25. I removed the exhaust from a parts car (1997 328i) and wondering if it is suitable to bolt onto the m50. From what i have gathered, the 2x O2 sensors in the m52 manifold wont work with the m50 (please correct me if im wrong). Will it just be easier to buy an entire m50 exhaust system? Or how do i get around using this exhaust. Cheers

    E30 M50 Coupe

    Without misleading anyone, this began as a 318i factory manual, Now upgrade with M50b25Tu. This car is super fun to drive, however I now have a project that requires time and money. Please note this car has extensive service hisotry dating back to 2004, I have a folder full of recipts and work carried out on this car inlcuding the CERT process Exterior: - Straight 318i body - Alpine white - Mtech1 lip is not included. - E30 bottle caps wheels ( Autostrada Modenas & WORK Equip 01s are an option @ additional price) - Body has done 203xxxkms Engine: - M50b25Tu was rebuilt prior to my ownership - Polished cams - 150xxxkms - New water pump - New thermostat and new alloy housing - Black FENIX Performance alloy radiator - Black custom cold air intake - Replaced rocker cover gasket - New accellerator cable (soft pedal travel) - New fuel injector seals and filters - M52 headers - Wrinkle coat 'beauty covers'. Interior: -Rare crack free dash - Low km cluster (102xxxkms) - Manual working sunroof - Rear windows are pop-out - Momo steering and boss kit - All dash components in good working order - Tinted windows - Blue interior, blue leather door cards - Mint factory leather BMW shifter Driveline: -Facotory Getrag 240 gearbox -Heavy duty clutch -Driveshaft hoop - 3:64 LSD Suspension: -XYZ racing adjustable suspesion. -Camber and damper adjustable -Toe correction kit in the rear -Reninforced strut towers Car is road legal with certification for all the modifications Current WOF, rego has ran out (will renew for buyer) Looking for a fellow enthusiast to look after and enjoy!   6. Hey guys, So about a year ago I picked up a 1995 525i auto touring with 275,000 kms (now has 302,000 kms) which has been my daily driver and now turning into a project car. The car is in alright condition but does need some love to bring it back to its former glory. It will be getting a manual transmission from a second e34 sedan that I own. I'll also be upgrading suspension, brakes, wheels and eventually tinkering with the motor once I decide what I want to do (m60 v8 vs turbo m50b25 open to opinions). Cosmetically I would like to clean up both the interior and exterior to what should be original condition and maybe some minor upgrades, but nothing too over the top. Exterior paint is in pretty rough condition with the clear coat peeling in many areas. Inside, the leather seats have torn where you sit (already bought replacement seats), headliner is sagging, and steering wheel is fairly worn, instrument cluster lcd has gone out, would like to install factory radio or something similar back in. The goals for this project are; #Do as much myself as I can. #Learn as much as I can in the process. #Teach others what I've learnt in the process. #Build a pretty neat car by the end of it. Obligatory pictures below! Oh and if anyone has any ideas or parts for sale that might help me out, please shout out!
  7. Time to move this along as I don't have the need for two cars. It has been in my family since import circa 2001. 171,XXX km. SOLD. Located in Auckland. The good: 5 Speed Manual - with Z3M shifter and ZHP knob. Full service 1,000km ago (170,000km). B&G Springs with Bilstein shocks - installed circa 160,000km. Style 68 staggered wheels on Bridgestone Potenza RE002/RE003 - approx. 5-7mm tread. Sony iPod stereo with Alpine Type S 6x9's in rear parcel tray - 6x9 adapters used so looks 100% OEM under standard BMW speaker covers. Current WOF/Rego. The not so good: Cloth door linings sagging. Bumper cracked on RHS corner at the bottom. The exterior of the car reflects that it is 22 years old i.e. not perfect. Best that you inspect to get a proper idea of the condition.   8. Hi guys, I am looking to start collecting parts for my e30 m50 swap. I have a couple of good options engine wise at the moment but am looking to see whats out there before I decide. I want: M50B25 (e34 ideally but e36 is ok) with less then 200,000k's E34 Oil sump, pick up and dip stick E36 engine arms M5 e28 Engine Mounts E36 Manual Gearbox If you have any of these parts please let me know, I am very keen to get my swap underway.
