kirsten 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Hi, Just found this site, where have you all been hiding?! My names Kirsten, I've had my e30 for almost a year, and keen to talk to some like-minded people. It's a Helrott red m325i, 1990. I think e30's are f*cking cool! The red beast needs a few fix-ups, it's idling very low at the momment. Any suggestions as to what may be causing it? Kirsten. Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Hi, welcome, pics of car please. Idling issues could be ICV, idle control valve sticking, they need the odd clean, or maybe the throttle position sensor under the throttle body may need cleaning?

kirsten 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 Thanks for the welcome guys! Me and my sister just washed my car, so it's all clean and shiny for pics. I'll post some up thisevening. The idling problem- so its mechanical not electrical? If the ICV is sticking do I need a new one, or will I be able to get it fixed?
