Funny that .. i will use 2 car spaces some times when I park

I park far away at the pak n save car park and walk 15 minutes .. still the other day someone managed to scratch my car when opening their door - he had a good 90cm and slammed it open!! Fkn cu*t!!

I dont give way to people on roads other than European cars (except Jag)

I didnt do tht until I owned a BM, before that I didnt care??

i park far away,but if its a steady crawl i will let a car in,mind you I hesitate just for a second,and if they dont react they have lost that opportunity.If It is a real crawl with lots of people pushing in I tend to be less courteous then,doent matter what sorta car

well I hope so go kick butt. thought that the BMW was a rare thing but went to Napier on Saturday and while going their saw 30 odd other beamers like a shooting gallery. On the return about Dannevirke had one come from no were and was gone interesting, black low slung large tips funny tail lights crease line in the roof. only saw it again as it got tied up in all the other traffic coming up to the Manawatu gorge. can you figure what it was try this http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r306/al...coupe-3b1-1.jpg couldn't find a black one. hope everyone one had a safe and happy easter cheers

I'll be honest and say I am more courteous towards other people with european cars on the road but I still let others in no matter what car, but if someone on the road is pissing me off then I wont. So no one really gets special treatment from me on the roads unless they have a nice E30... then they get a wave

LOL!!!!! nice... i'll give way to euro cars more readily than others... its all about the eye contact I make with them lol... like previously said, if the hesitate then oppertunity gone, or if they give me a sh*t look, the oppertunity has gone... as for parking, if I dont park away i park next to the ferrari and next to the porche, as to be sure not to get scratched... just like the state ad.. hehe

I let buses, cars of whatever nature, just about anything in when I'm in a good mood - bar 4wd's with single women in them - they can enjoy the wait.

I managed to nearly (all four wheels locked up) put a Wrx into a parked car when he decided he'd do that manouver, only realising that I took off faster than he assumed resulting in him running out of useable road very quickly - He even gave me the finger

Ive had similar experiences like the wrx one, lol good sh*t, and yea lots of japa skylines and silvias with massive exhausts wanting to show off. pisses me off big time.

I love those Corolla station wagon ones where the exhaust is wider than their tyres and hanging down with 2mm clearence from the road... I guess if the car sounds fast it makes the 1500cc Toyotas etc look as if their can do a 1/4 mile in 10 seconds

I waved at 2 E60 tourings towing E30 race cars on the back on the Northern motorway couple weeks back, was that someone here? Andy maybe?

On road trips - I wave to all BMW drivers. Mainly for the laughs.

My wife and kids get sooooo embarassed when I wave to other cars. Used to do it when I had the 2002tii.

Goes back to the days when Dad did it I guess as he never owned ordinary cars.

The ones I remember in order were

Datsun 240z (new), mid 70's

Capri 3 litre Mk 2 (new), mid to late 70's

Falcon XY GTHO Phase 3 (ex Jim Richards), while he had the Capri

VW Golf GTi Mk 1 (new), early 80's, the family owned that car for 17 years, sh*t it was great.

Ferrari GT330 1966, bought when he sold the Falcon, early 80's til early 90's when he died. My brother in law bought it off the estate and owned it for another 10 years. It's back in the UK now.

Audi Quattro Sport (yep, the full on turbo), late 80's till he died.

I had a charmed life as a kid. Even in my teens, it was a case of "Dad, there's a race meeting next month, can I use the Cooper S, Tii or Mk 2 Jag to race". We had the SFRT (Styles Family Racing Team), my brother and I had a blast.

Sorry if it looks as if I'm skyting, but sh*t life was good.
