Steve K-B 51 Report post Posted May 6, 2007 How did he finish up?? What time andrew? Also any chashes?? Would have been a wicked day for it!
Grant 4 Report post Posted May 6, 2007 I was watching from near the finish line for a while, it was great to see some of the real old timers in action....although I was run quicker than some of them. I think the run of Andrew's I saw was in the low 26's, which seemed like a pretty reasonable run compared with the cars around him. The commentator called him a quick little car anyway. Cheers Grant

Andrew 30 Report post Posted May 6, 2007 I had a mare of a day initially - doing 3 very slow runs in the 28/29s. Took a bit of a learning curve to do a different type of driving. It came together for the end and I shaved 4 sec of my time to finish with a best of 25.1 which was on a par with the other cars in my class. Commentator called out a 24.1 which had me excited. Congrats to John Hudson who cleaned up. I came 5th in my class and 30th overall.
