topcat 11 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 those replicas are also available for e23/e28's. got two sets for the e23's i own. do check thet are round as it took me 6-8 trips back to the tire shop to check them over and over and......... you get the picture. now that i have 2 sets that are true/staight,the cars drive superb
bravo 35 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Easy. The motorsport rims are way to modern looking for an e28. the pinnas are good looking, and timeless in their design. They don't look old, but look great on an older car.
martyyn 2 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 (edited) Those Alpinas are the 'newer' softline version. The lip is rounded and smooth rather than the old school 'square' lip. Still look the nuts though on an e28 [edit] Where are the Alpinas for sale ? That looks like a genuine wheel rather than a replica. Carl 3 Report post Posted September 18, 2007 Looking at Brent's post that E28 with the M5 rims look very suitable, i'm thinking the Alpina's won't look as good as them.
nath 134 Report post Posted September 18, 2007 those 'Throwing stars' do look great WITH SHADOWLINE, but they arent at question, so i vote alpina. Why not sell the e28 and get the E28 B9 3.5 (nz new, german built) for 11k?! but then again, i suppose that isnt at issue either!

Mavrick 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2007 do u rembember how much they were on ther for? They were $800 from memory, if you have some way of contacting the seller you should be able to find out. Not sure if they were genuine or not but they would lokk mint on your car.
