Easy. The motorsport rims are way to modern looking for an e28. the pinnas are good looking, and timeless in their design. They don't look old, but look great on an older car.

Those Alpinas are the 'newer' softline version. The lip is rounded and smooth rather than the old school 'square' lip.

Still look the nuts though on an e28 ;)

[edit] Where are the Alpinas for sale ? That looks like a genuine wheel rather than a replica.

Looking at Brent's post that E28 with the M5 rims look very suitable, i'm thinking the Alpina's won't look as good as them.

those 'Throwing stars' do look great WITH SHADOWLINE, but they arent at question, so i vote alpina.

Why not sell the e28 and get the E28 B9 3.5 (nz new, german built) for 11k?! but then again, i suppose that isnt at issue either!

do u rembember how much they were on ther for?

They were $800 from memory, if you have some way of contacting the seller you should be able to find out. Not sure if they were genuine or not but they would lokk mint on your car.
