Driftit 2078 Report post Posted January 14, 2008 Was just out for a drive and drove past this 540i. Thought somethings wrong here. Why was it so dull. Spun around and pulled up to have a closer look. It looks like it has been sitting here for years! Its under a tree and is just coated in tree sap and bird sh*t. As you can see from the pictures the paint is totally rooted. I couldn't get a pic of the front but it was in even worse condition as it was further under the tree. I couldn't even see in the windows they were so caked in tree sap. Just dont understand how someone would let a car like this get so bad! The owners lived down a long driveway and this car was parked at the top. The sap is alot worse than what the pics show. Yuen 16 Report post Posted January 14, 2008 Bird crap would probably have etched into the paint quite badly if it's been sitting for long. Someone rescue it!

bmw.maniac 1 Report post Posted January 14, 2008 You could do a VIR on the numberplate think they are $10 or $20 on the website would tell you the owners details and if the plates were still alive and last time it had a wof Virs only list the owners name, no contact details. Also, they are now $30. Somebody go into the Post Office with $4.90 and get the owner's details.
