Yuen 16 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 Yeah, looks nice eh? White really is making a return With some clears it would look stunning. Those wheels don't suit a legend like the M5 though.

Mark 178 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 I love the wheels... they're so 90's! I'd rather have the red one in Chch with 104,000km on it for $27k (might be 104,000 miles however, but still less k's than the white one)
Guest Simon* Report post Posted May 15, 2008 Not sure on the pimp-daddy white wall tyres... Those are Turbine 1's my friends. Very authentic I prefer the Turbine 2's myself - throwing stars

Apex 693 Report post Posted May 16, 2008 I like the way he said it was the fastest saloon in the world… He obviously hasn’t heard of the Lotus Carlton. Nice looking car though, leather could use some shoe nugget and those wheels would be going in the shed if it was mine.

I still have the Mag article where they compared a trio from memory, Lotus Carlton, E34 Alpina BiTurbo, E500? There are some in depth articles on the net for Carlton engine work etc.
Apex 693 Report post Posted May 16, 2008 They are an absolute beast, would love one down under! It held the title of quickest GM sedan up until the 06 VE GTS/R8.
