Ouch - exactly the same reason why I had to buy another car the other week. Somoeone needs to teach these women not to have accidents!

Buy Glenns 316i. It goes really well, and is a total minter. I drove it and would have bought it had the MR2 not been such a steal. Only problem is its 2-door.

buy my e30 6500 :D

she really likes your car, but going from a 1.6 fwd mitsi to a rwd 2.7 ltr bmw isn't a great idea yeah? besides I want your car. Fuel economy is important here too.

That red 328 looks good, is it an M3 or a 328? haha WTF?

If you're looking at the E36 I think it should be between 4 cylinders and M52 if you want 6 cylinders. The M52 is just a better engine than the M50 in terms of low end torque and hence fuel economy... at current prices the gap between M50 and M52 cars isn't much at all so I'd go with M52.

So:

318, 320 (M52), 323, 328

Here's a manual 328 Motorsport - seems like a decent deal (it's 150,000 Kms not 15,000). Been in NZ since 15,000km.

The Hellrot car is a 328. I suspect the silver above is also an SA car, based on the interior.

Have you considered an E46? They seem to be popping up for under $10k now.

There was an ex-Australia 99 318i auto travelled 115km recently on TM which I just missed out on for $8k.

This 1999 318i NZ new is currently on $1 reserve, surely it would be a good buy under $10k. You can't go past NZ new!
