bravo 35 Report post Posted June 16, 2008 Link WTF?! Firstly, what the hell are people "attacking" aircraft with lasers for in the first place, and secondly another brilliant peice of journalism from the Herald - story tells you nothing.
Venatus 2 Report post Posted June 16, 2008 Id say the kind of people that would do that are the kind of little shits that throw gigantic rocks at cars off bridges... Although id assume a laser with that kind of power should really be in the price range of those types;;;

elmarco 56 Report post Posted June 16, 2008 OK the level of detail in the article isn't great, but isn't it possible that by providing a lot of details on how to do it to some of the lower echelons of our society would increase the problem?? Just playing the devils advocate.... I agree with Hybrid.

Yuen 16 Report post Posted June 16, 2008 +4 Another level up from the morons who sit in their apartments in the CBD and follow people on the sidewalks below with a laser, sometimes even pointing it into cars. Grow up and get a life!
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted June 16, 2008 I better be careful where I point my Laser projector in future. I brought a laser projector while on holiday in Thailand. It projects images over 1km. The patterns are music pulse based and the patterns change to the level of sound and pulse the internal mic recieves. Its really great when having a party, because weve got hills all around us. BTW...my daughters, partners, mates little brother goes to court soon for pointing a laser at the police helicopter. Little sh*t got caught on his parents deck with the laser by armed defenders. They thought it was a laser gun sight.

And then it would have been a media field day for Police brutality etc. Edited June 16, 2008 by elmarco

my_e36 43 Report post Posted June 17, 2008 I support the ban, there is no good reason for (almost) anyone to have one in the first place, except to annoy people.
