as I dont want to make the car look cheap I want to have good looks!!!

definately all smoked look! The red on the other one is too bright, too reminisant of crystal clear altezza's.

I'd go with the all smoked look aswell.

But these All Red Tail Lights could look good on a red car. Cheaper too!

Smoked! had them on my e30 and looked the part, and they are a very deep black.

I did my little E30's tail lights....all red with clear reverse lights

Just take the lights out and mask them up, paint the orange indicators first ( 2 coats ) then two coats over the whole lense. Then two coats of clear laquer...real easy

The paint I used was stained glass laquer paint from Mitre 10 was about $12 and a tin of clear laquer

Yeh I went all red too.Did it in the same product as Glenn used the first time but it didn't really bling much.So I just mixed up my own paint and used some spare 2k clear I had lying around and they were shinny as.

I see your on the shore too,could do it for ya...I think I have some spare red and thinners lying around and I def have heaps of clear around somewhere from spraying the Corona.

Go for number two, and hook me up with a set while you’re at it. I have seen them on Trade me for $350 witch I feel is a rip considering they cost under a hundy in Thailand.

Also Aftermarket lights should be at the end of the modification list as they just look stupid on a semi stock car.

Did you have any problem with WOF's with red reverse lights?

Nah went through 2 wofs at 2 different places and was sweet.Easy enough to just rub the red off the reverse light anyways.Just mask it up and Acetone it off.
