Hey all, my name is Yasthil. I'm a South African born student. Also working with telecom.

I recently purchased a 1984 M528i manual. And in typical 'new' old car fashion it has broken :(

It's great to finally have a classic BMW although I'm sure my wallet isn't going to agree withthat statement.

See you all around the forums.

Welcome, was that Kimmies car?

What's wrong with it? A few of us on here have bits etc, and are happy to help with advice.

Hope to see it around.

I think the universal joint or center bearing hanger has failed completely.

I'm happy with it, needs a bit of work though.

That was the previous owner, he didn't really care much for it. Let it sit out on the road!

It now resides in East Auckland. In a comfy double garage, as it should be.

Well Yasthil, if you live in East Auckland, you should try and make out meetings at the Garrisons bar every third Thursday of each month and meet some of the local members.

Nice car, when those old E28's are done up, they can look pretty cool.

Cheers
