Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Ive been surfing the web checkin out the U.S forums and came across these.

They look a little bit like the e34 throwing stars

i havent seen these on any e36's in nz?

Im guessing they where a U.S option?

Anyone know where i may be able to find a set in 18"

i reckon they look great. wouldnt mind replica's either

They call them M-Contour and genuine ones only come in 17" - they came on some E36 M3s. They are 1 piece (no cover) unlike the Throwing Stars.

Thanks bud looks like i gotta do a little bit more googling.

17" wouldnt be too bad with the right tyres and a little drop anyway.

The e34 throwing stars have the wrong fitment right?

I really really like them! but have been told that the replicas spin all wack and diffrent ways to each other.

No worries. If you get a genuine set they will fit your car.

E34 Throwing Stars will have the wrong offset - they're nice wheels but genuine ones are hard to find!

There were some hanging around trademe a few months back, they were passed in at $300 as I recall. I didn't have an E36 at the time so I let them go. They looked genuine, ie the //M badge on them.

Keep looking.

A lot of the replicas have the M stickers on them.
